Family Weekend

Our stay was wonderful. The house was big enough for 10 people to fit in and it was close to all the amenities and activities we wanted. The bunk beds were a little bit uncomfortable, but that is to be expected. The yard area was very enjoyable, and the houses layout meant that when some people went to bed, they were not disturbed by those who were staying up later. Overall I would recommend this place to stay!!

As good as the pictures!

Quiet neighbourhood. Close to everything: town, penguins, wildlife reserve, etc. heaps of room with most bedrooms separated so if someone wanted to retire early, they could… and undisturbed. Great house, experience and communication. Thanks!

On arrival we were plannjng to have a BBQ, we open the BBQ to find it dirty with rat droppings everywhere. We had to do a thorough clean of the BBQ before we could use it. The outdoor dining area was filthy and again needed a through clean. The oven and stove top were not working so we had to result in using the electric fry pan and microwave to cook our food. There were insufficient bowls for breakfast. The house could use a good clean before guests stay as we found dry vommit on the inside of the main bedroom door. The second bedroom door handle fell off constantly and we had to repair it as people got stuck inside the room. It would be good to have fresh mattress protectors for guests upon arrival.More hooks inthe bathrooms would be a great asset to the property.

Hi Michelle, Thank you for your feedback and for bringing these issues to our attention. We sincerely apologise for the condition of the BBQ, outdoor area, and the cleanliness issues you experienced during your stay. We are also sorry about the oven and stovetop not working, the lack of kitchen items, and the maintenance issues with the bedroom door handle. Your feedback has been noted and will be passed on to the owner and cleaning team so these issues can be addressed for future guests.

good for a family

General cleaning was good. However the cooking stove was not clean at all. Also when using the air conditioner, that was found to be inadequate. Luckily my grandson was in the business and serviced and cleaned it, then it worked well.

A very lovely stay with a small downside.

The house was clean and organized upon arrival, it appeared as advertised and served us well. Only two things are worth mentioning outside of that. The wheelie bins were full when we arrived, which meant we had to take our rubbish home with us. Also, the property is listed on Stayz as being pet friendly, however, we only received notification the night before that pets were not allowed inside the property.

Thanks very much for taking the time to provide feedback. We do have a third party bins collection service and we ask guest to contact us on arrival if the bins are full. The home is definitely Pet friendly and Pets are allowed inside and out. We will update all the information on our end to make sure it reflects this.

Fantastic

This house is perfect for large groups. 9 adults and 2 dogs, the adults loved the house and the dogs loved the yard. The beds were comfortable, everything you could need in comfort is supplied. Although chilly we sat outside each evening around the under cover area, and then had the inside fire on which heated the house beautifully. The 3 living areas meant everyone could spread out. We recommend Red Rock villa highly!

Great beach family holiday

Short walk to beach, easy with kids. Short drive to Cowes shops and pier. Our family enjoyed the Wii, 2 large screen T.V’s and the pool table was a hit. Outdoor table came in handy for enjoying the winter sunshine. Two living areas allowed space for adults and kids. Relaxing and enjoyable time away in an inviting holiday home.
