HipNautic - Meredith Lodging (Formerly know as Sea It All)

If you want to combine all the elements of an excellent stay at the beach in a sweet, compact package, grab this fabulous oceanfront home for a couple or small group and HipNautic! Located on the lower level of a large oceanfront home, HipNautic has private access to an outdoor patio made irresistible by chairs, and an ocean-view hot tub. It has its own private path to the Bella Beach neighborhood beach access, so miles of sandy beach walking are right down a cliff-side staircase. Indoors, you’ll enjoy all your favorite amenities, including a great room with a sofa, chairs, gas fireplace, TV/DVD, and a wall of windows to the sea. A small dining area adjoins the fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and a gas range. Two pretty queen bedrooms, each with its own full bath, make it easy to invite friends to enjoy the beach with you. Since you’re in Bella Beach, you’ll also have access to a children’s playground, Meredith Lodging bikes, and the very French Café C’est la Vie. A grocery store, coffee shop, and excellent bakery are close by, and so is a brewpub at Salishan and fine dining at Side Door Café, Café Beck, and Tidal Raves. Easy day trips to Lincoln City or Newport mean you’ll be home before dark. Whether you’re snuggled inside in front of the fireplace or watching the sunset over the ocean in the hot tub, you’ll have all you want for a terrific coastal stay.

Beautiful spot, but be prepared for no fire pit, no privacy, and no reliable internet.We enjoyed some aspects of our stay, but future guests should be aware of several issues.The listing states there is a fire pit, but this unit does not have one—a detail the management company should correct. Internet and cell service are extremely poor; Wi-Fi was nearly unusable, and streaming TV was unreliable. The router is located in the upstairs unit, meaning we had to depend on those guests to reset it, which is not a practical solution, and it never happened.There are no beach chairs provided (they must be rented separately), very few toys or games, and the kitchen is minimally stocked—only four plates, for example. The location is directly beside the community’s beach access, so there is constant foot traffic past the windows, deck, and hot tub, resulting in very little privacy.With these issues unresolved and customer service falling short, we would not choose to stay here again.

Lovely beachside cabin

Very lovely stay near the beach. The sound of waves was so tranquil. The unit is as advertised and was a lovely haven. Highly recommend.

Great Stay By The Beach

We came to get away from everything and see the beach and this property was perfect for us. Kitchen nicely stocked, working hot tub with easy access, and right on the beach.

Girlfriend Getaway

Love the location. Condo, for the price, needs to have a corkscrew that works, better dishes, better pillows, better towels, a tv that works and a fire pit as advertised. We’ve been to Bella Beach many times & I was disappointed in this accommodation.

Weekend Getaway

The weather was cold and the waves were tumultuous, so the hot tub was a nice feature of this property. We enjoyed our walks on the beach and the sounds of the waves.

Beautiful location, great apartment. There are steps to access unit from the parking and also steep steps to the beach. Kitchen was well equipped. Property management team were very helpful in retrieving a left behind item.

Photos & description were deceiving.

The photos and description were very deceiving. I really thought we were getting a house to ourselves. Private hot tub & private beach access. Instead we had the kids next door walking across the deck, upstairs neighbors that stomped around, the beach access had people at it all day (not quiet or private) hot tub had zero privacy, coffee pot was broke, tv remote had tape on it, the bed is shot and has a hole you lay into, & the access stairs from the one parking spot has a very loose board. The ad also says 2,424 sqft, no way it’s that big. The cost to stay there for two nights was not even close to justifiable. Also getting charged double booking fees from VRBO and Meredith was not expected. Didn’t realize it was a double management company. Expensive lesson learned this weekend. On a positive note, the view was good.

Everything Broken

The location was unbelievable. The hot tub was awesome. However so many crucial things were broken. The clothes dryer didn’t work. Turns out in the Pacific Northwest, nothing air dries, not for days. And between the rain and ocean and hot tub, everything ended up wet. We needed a functioning dryer. When we called, I was put on hold and eventually told that the repair person would probably make it out that day, but no timeline. He arrived a few hours later and did not fix the dryer, which was giving a ERROR message on the screen. The keypad to enter the property didn’t work. When we called, we were given access to the physical master key, which also didn’t work. We called again and after a few hours the repair person came out and replaced the keypad and master. The thermostat was broken. Set to 61 degrees Fahrenheit. I had to throw all my weight into pressing the buttons but eventually got it clicked up to 70. We had to turn the heat off at night to sleep because it was so hot and we couldn’t lower it. Called about this but nobody responded.

Great House

Don’t show up early, on a computer so you can’t get in even a minute early. They didn’t supply anything free like liquid dish soap. Their WiFi was horrible, my daughter in-law brought a hot spot with her which saved us to some extent. Other wise very nice house.

False Advertising

Fire place didn’t work and hot tub was absolutely disgusting and unusable. Upon further investigation we found reviews where other renters came down with rashes after using the hot tub. If you’re looking for a property with a hot tub on the beach do yourself and your partner a favor and keep scrolling.

Right on the beach!

We had a great time here enjoying the beach. The first thing we did was move the chairs so we could relax and look out the big windows at the ocean. We saw seals, sea lions and a whale. This location is right next to a few short steps down to the beach. Had a great weekend and I would recommend it.

Great house

We had a great time staying in this home. The house was smaller than we had imagined, but it was perfect for us two couples. The view was breathtaking, along with the hot tub and fire pit which added to the ambiance. The home was close to Lincoln city as well as Newport and we enjoyed our visit very much.

Perfect location, some weird nuances, but can't beat the location

Several little weird things- 1) only very small pans 2)"communal" fire pit right in front of other unit's porch- little weird to use it 3)smoke (heat?) alarm WAY to sensitive- went off any time I opened the oven 4)wifi signal only in livingroom- not bedrooms or on porch, 5)shower head abnormally low. That being said, we came for the location, and it was perfect. Not the most private- unit and porch are right next to public stairs. But wasn't an issue at all.

Great for small family getaway

I loved it being right next to the stairs down to the beach. I felt safe and cozy. The kitchen wasn’t perfectly stocked but there were appreciated small extra amenities. Kurig AND a 12 cup pot. Giant Jenga and Uno! Beautiful landscaping. Not to mention the very reasonable extra fee for late checkout at 2pm! I highly suggest that if you like to start your mornings slow or do things “one more time”.
