Perfect Set Up
We had a wonderful experience. The house was clean and the temperature was cool. We were able to spread out and enjoy the backyard amenities as well. The perfect place if you bring your dog! Would definitely recommend! Also, the owner was very responsive to questions.
We enjoyed our stay at this dog friendly cabin! It was cozy and cute with a great yard and lots of fun activities like Wii, foosball, cornhole, and giant jenga. There were tons of movies and tvs in all the rooms. We brought our dogs, and we were thrilled with the dog door, dog couch, toys, treats, and bowls. It was well stocked! And it was right on the forest with a gate to the forest trail.

Perfect cabin for a family get away. Communication with Bob was spectacular, cabin was clean, cozy and the perfect amount of room for my family. We stayed here over New Years weekend and got over 12” of snow in one day, it was beautiful. Location was close enough to town but still far enough away to be surrounded by the beautiful forrest trees. Will definitely stay here again.
Beautiful cabin, very kid and dog friendly (and adults, too!). We had a great time playing in the snow. Would love to come back in the summer. Highly recommend!
The cabin was beautiful and had everything you could need to entertain families with children. The backyard was spacious with a beautiful view and a fantastic fire pit. The real bonus was this property gives full size RzRs direct access to the Tonto National Forest. We will be returning and would highly recommend staying here!

The property was very well equipped - including plenty of blankets, games, DVD's, kitchen equipment, condiments - even a couple of bags of ice in the refrigerator - we'd be happy to return anytime. A good base location for trips to Sedona, Williams, Grand Canyon, Flagstaff. Best of all, the home - can't call it a cabin - backed up to the National Forest.
What an amazing spot! My family and I were looking for a quick getaway to beat the NV heat. This cabin was a wonderful surprise.
The cabin was wonderfully stocked, comfortable, and filled with lots of love and memories. My son enjoyed the upstairs bedrooms and the games provided. Our dog was right at home and loved the backyard.
The location of the cabin was ideal for a family that likes to find some quiet and explore the outdoors during the day.
Thank you for providing such an amazing getaway.
Even if you don't have pets, the location can not be beat. The cabin is warm and cozy, and feels like a cabin should and not just a tract home located in the forest. But for those who want to take their dogs along, this place is perfect. The yard is not only completely fenced, but also secure. Our dogs are good at testing fences, and no escapes were achieved. There is seating out in the open for when the weather is cooperative, and seating under cover when it is not. The only challenge we encountered were the stairs going up to the two extra bedrooms. They are fairly steep. My 92 year old mother had no problem using them, although she is very agile for her age, but two of our dogs refused to go up or down them (raised in the flatlands in a one story house). Not a problem, as there are dog beds in the living room and the master bed room where we slept with them. I would recommend this cabin to anyone, and we will be back often. Again, thanks for providing a place where our entire family felt welcome.

Dog friendly, close to hiking trails, great covered back deck
We had a very enjoyable stay at this cozy cabin for two weeks in July. The cabin was very clean with the kitchen and bathrooms having been modernized. There are TVs on the deck, in the living room and in all bedrooms if you need your DirectTV fix. The huge covered back deck is super comfortable and a great place to relax with your two and four legged family members. We used both the fire pit to roast marshmallows and the gas grill. There is a motorized trail right behind the property but there was very limited noise and you can walk the trails as well. It's a half a mile hike from the cabin to Brad's Trail, if you want a walking only trail through the beautiful pine trees. The only drawback was internet connectivity which Bob was very upfront about when we booked. The connectivity is through a hot spot which bogs down when too many devices are connected and some phones had limited carrier access. However, the beautiful view out the back, super easy access to hiking trails and the ability to have your dogs stay far outweigh this small inconvenience. I would highly recommend staying here and would consider staying again next summer.

Well I am very glad you guys enjoyed your stay. I am going to be changing that hub out for normal internet service as soon as they complete the up dated lines in our area. Thanks for the review and would look forward to having you back next year.

Good Dog Getaway
We booked this primarily for the enclosed backyard and accessibility to hiking trail right off the property. In that we, and especially the grand-dog, were not disappointed. A few suggestions: entry was supposed to be a drop-box with key by the front door. There was none. Thankfully the garage door code worked. Agreement called for picking up dog waste in yard before leaving - we picked up far more than our dog left; was quite a bit there already when we arrived. Bring your own coffee pot if you want drip coffee. Did not use the Keurig; had to find online directions to use the other one and even when used correctly it leaked coffee onto the counter. Careful not to hit your head on shelves - kitchen table space is tight and low shelf there didn't help. Electric outlet in downstairs bath is hidden behind the towels - would have been nice to know that! Never got the living room TV to work beyond one channel - directions not very helpful. Bring your own large non-stick frying pan if you need one. Better notes/tips for these would have been helpful! Highly recommend local BBQ and coffee shop just across the freeway - they were both excellent for take-out.

Sue, thank you for taking the time to leave this feedback. We're glad that you and your grand-dog enjoyed the location, and we appreciate your feedback! We've shared your comments with the homeowner and wanted to address the following:
- The check-in instructions have been updated and clarified so future guests can gain seamless access to their vacation home.
- The cleaners typically take care of cleaning up dog waste from the yard; we're looking into this to make sure it doesn't happen again.
- The homeowner would've been more than happy to assist with any questions you had about the coffeemaker, the electric outlets, the TV use, and the frying pan. He would've loved the opportunity to ensure you were getting the most out of your experience in his home!
Thank you again for your feedback and suggestions!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms clean. The kitchen had every appliance we needed to make meals there. The back deck and yard were awesome. We spent most of our time there. The owner checked in to make sure we were comfy and had everything we needed. We love Munds Park. It’s a good central location to Flagstaff, Sedona, and Mormon Lake. Williams, too.
Communication and access was amazing! The cabin was perfect for my family and for our dogs. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty to do, my 13 and 6 year old (and dogs) were occupied the entire time. Exactly the relaxing weekend we needed!
We stayed with our two dogs. Excellent accommodations and definitely dog friendly! Would absolutely stay again.

Good, but could use some maintenance. We stayed 8 days; Munds Park is quite isolated, not close to many services. No furnace, but heater in each room. Shag rugs and bathroom carpets need cleaning. Some dishes were not very clean. If you want to be close to Sedona, it is quite a distance. Given our interests, probably wouldn’t stay there again as it is too far from interesting beauty and unique aspects of Sedona.

Hi Nicole, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
-Our listing has a map with mileage to nearby attractions so guests can decide if the location meets their preferences.
-Our listing description notes that space heaters are provided, and there's a gas fireplace in the main living space. The fireplace is controlled by a Nest thermostat. In addition, there's a wood-burning fireplace in the master bedroom and portable oil heaters.
-Our property was thoroughly cleaned before your stay. If guests have any concerns, we encourage them to bring them to our attention during their stay so we can address them immediately.
We appreciate feedback, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
