Horse Inn Around: Pet Friendly-so bring the whole family! Just 3 mins to beach

We invite you to put your toes in the sand and a beverage in your hand...Horse Inn Around is our little oasis where we escape to relax and enjoy a secluded beach vacation. We visit the area as often as we can and love it for it's peaceful laid back, away from it all atmosphere. Enjoy your complimentary (Horse Inn Around bottle of wine) while soaking in the serene hot tub under the twinkling stars.

Almost everything is new including: hot tub, wet bar and a fully stocked kitchen. There is a washer and dryer. Even a high chair for the little one.

A 4WD VEHICLE IS A MUST TO GET TO THIS PROPERTY. Seriously, You're going to drive 10 miles up the beach and LOVE EVERY SECOND OF IT!

**Linens (bedding and towels) can be provided for an additional fee or bring your own. Please advise at the time of booking.

**Pets welcome for an additional fee (more fun to bring with you and definitely most cost effective than boarding).

The location is a remote, wooded lot, where the horses love to roam and take shade from the sun. While private, you are just a short two-minute drive to the beach, where you can chose your favorite beach front parking spot and relax, look for sea shell treasures, maybe spot a school of dolphins or watch the horses play. Beach parking passes included.

Note: In Carova, there is a large dune that separates houses from the beachfront, so most vacationers choose to drive to the beach regardless if 50 feet or 1100 feet from the beach. It's part of the charm of Carova -one of the only beaches left in the USA that you can still drive and park on. No need to pack and unpack all of your beech stuff, all week! Why carry the cooler when your 4 wheel drive can do it for you.

Clean roomy pet friendly quiet secluded all around amazing! We loved it we saw horses right at the house!! The beach drive was a challenge at night but still as breathtaking as it is in daylight! A unique adventure and we will be returning!Renee answered instantly and resolved what I needed!! The house has a hot tub which is also a bonus!! Very pretty up to date FULLY stocked with dishes/utensils! Love, love, love this place and we took our dog and she loved the beach and the beach is EVERYWHERE!!!Next time we will stay A LOT longer

Great Remote Beach Property

If you like a remote beach experience, this property is a great option. We set up on the beach, stayed all day, and regularly saw the wild horses on the dunes. The house was clean, comfortable, and we all slept well each night. We also enjoyed the hot tub!

Summer OBX June 2025

We had another great beach vacation on the 4x4 in the OBX! Weather was picture perfect. The ocean was clear and warm. Our hosts were very quick to respond to any questions we had, as well as quick to answer our call during our stay with a question. House was exactly as advertised.

Awesome getaway!!

Very nice vacation home, we enjoyed the peace and quiet, so relaxing. The hot tub was a plus, the beach was beautiful and watching the horses walk the dunes was amazing. Highly recommend staying here, we will be back!!

Horse Inn Around

A very peaceful stay. We saw many horses along the beach as well as on the back roads. The four wheeling was a blast.

Great Trip to OBX

We had a great time. Great private location in the 4x4 area just a short walk/ride to the beach. Hosts were great communicators, empathetic and accommodating. Would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway spot in the OBX.
