Convenient to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Love that this complex is pet-friendly! The property manager was easy to work with. Check-in and check-out were simple.
My husband, daughter and fiancé enjoyed staying in this cozy little hideaway. It was clean, a close walk to the beach, quiet and family friendly. We enjoyed our stay.
The condo was clean and exactly as described. Pet friendly with a great deck. The property manager, Sarah, is wonderful. She was very communicative and helpful. The condo is outfitted with everything you need and then some: towels, sheets, kitchen items and even extra dog bowls and dog gates for the deck. The location is great - nice and quiet but walkable to all the shops and restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay there again.

Ocean Inn is a hidden gem. It is well managed with a great location to the beach and other amenities. A very family-oriented development that is quiet and laid back. Highly recommended!
Enjoyed the location. Within a short walk to restaurants, a few shops, city park, and the beach. The two bedrooms/bathrooms were great, but the living area and kitchen were small. Parking could be challenging for a large SUV.

While the living area and kitchen are cozy, many guests appreciate the spacious patio deck for relaxing and enjoying sunny days—a nice trade-off for the indoor space. We also understand parking a large SUV can be a bit challenging; parking near the entrance tends to be the easiest. We hope to welcome you back for another stay soon!
Everything was fine, especially Beth the manager. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great. My only disappointment was the front living area. Way too small for our group. Had I known this I would have rented a larger unit.

We’ve been staying at Ocean Inn for over 6 years. We have stayed in many of the condos…and always it didn’t disappoint! It’s always super clean and has everything you need! We had 2 kids and 1 adults…having 2 full size bathrooms was nice!
The living area is small but space is utilized well! We stay on the go so that space is not super important to us! We love the walkabilitg to everything! This condo was perfect! Beth is always amazing to communicate with for any of your needs!
We really enjoyed our stay. Location within walking distance to beach. There was a wagon and beach chairs in the closet. We really enjoyed not having to carry our chairs and cooler to the beach. Unit was very clean. Since I have a bad back a mattress can make or break. Queen mattress was good, King mattress was fair. Plenty of linens. Convenient to grocery store and coffee shop. Would definitely stay there again.
Beautiful place! Well maintained. Unit was very comfortable for 4 adults and very clean. Beth was a fantastic property manager and on site daily. The pool was relaxing and short walk to the beach and restaurants. Loved our time and we will be back!!
Place was/is super clean. They have a lot of stuff there. Seems people buy stuff then leave it? Or maybe they just put it in there. Not sure. They even had cinnamon, olive oil, and olive oil spray. That's pretty cool. Salt and pepper is there too.
Plenty of plates, glasses, bowls, utensils. There was even coffee! Good coffee too.
They had plenty of covers, blankets, pillows. Could use one more of the big pillows for the pull out, but my son brought his own pillow. He’s bougie like that so he didn’t have a problem. He slept comfortably in the pull out. He’s 12. you will be blocked in once you pull the pull out out, so you'll have to crawl over it. Wasn't really a big deal for us. We like to keep things open, and just moved him into the bedroom when we got up. Made the bed and closed it.
The living area is kind of small. If you have two littles who like to be around you all of the time, it may get cramped in there. Bedrooms, and bathrooms are a nice size. New queen bed in one, and a king bed in the other. They had plenty of bathroom towels. Had shampoo in there, a roll cart with some bathroom things. This place is pretty stocked. Has a blow dryer. Has feet towels.
It's also stocked with cleaning supplies which I loved! Has a broom, counter, mirror spray. Disinfectant spray. Careful. That's strong now.
They have chairs, and boogie boards in the closet. More toys are by the laundry room too.
Don't forget quarters. 1.50 a load to wash and to dry. One machine is 2.00. I didn't care. I'd rather have clean clothes in my suitcase. Should probably bring laundry stuff just to be on the same side. When we were there they had some supplies just sitting out. Not sure if that's normal or not though.
Grounds are cute . Pretty flowers spread throughout. They take care of the property for sure. There is a bit of an ant situation in the parking lot sometimes, and on the wood walkway to this door. I saw them come around and spray though. It's not the properties fault. They're just there. I think they do what they can to combat them. Nothing was in the house though.
If you want to enjoy yourself on the deck, DO NOT come here without bug spray, and a thermocell pest/mosquito repellant. I used the bug spray to spray on the wooden walkway that leads to the steps when I woke up. Wouldn't see any ants for hours. I think that's why I got attacked in the parking lot by the ants :/ eww. Don't park a golf cart right under that tree.
Anyway, use the therm
First off, it is a great location and has a great property manager. Any problems that came up Beth would promptly address. The mosquitoes are an issue (and could be due to the shaded side of the building, water, etc.) But plan on bringing spray if you come. It was a bit small for us during our stay, but manageable. Probably the biggest drawback I had with the property was the fact that it was a “pet friendly” property, but I felt like the owners didn’t really want any pets there. I understand that people can take advantage of these places with their dogs and leave lots of hair, etc. But it just honestly made me feel guarded the whole time. I didn’t feel I could relax for being worried my dogs were leaving too much hair behind or something that would have decreased our initial deposit. And I’m not sure why the pet (non-refundable) deposit didn’t cover excess hair, etc. But I have to say the thing that upset me most was as soon as I walked in there was an actual pillow that states, “No dogs on this sofa.” I mean, it’s supposed to be pet friendly. It felt more “pet tolerant.”

We always appreciate an honest review! Should any need arise, future guests need to know it will be addressed as quickly and best as possible. Regarding mosquitoes, it certainly has been an issue with all of the rain we had this season. We have since had the property treated which has improved the situation greatly, but guests should still bring bug spray either way since it has been bad all over the area.
We do have high expectations for pet owners who bring their dogs here. I appreciate the attention taken to prevent any issues from bringing, in the case above, the 120# total weight of two pets. The pet fee is a convenience fee so guests can bring the pet on vacation, versus paying to board them. Hosting pets is not the same as hosting people, but in the same way any guest would try to prevent spills or soiling on our furniture or bedding, we expect pet owners to address their pet’s fur and odor, and of course use a leash and potty bags outside since our HOA and the town ordinances require it.. Condos are cleaned by our cleaning crew, of course, but cleaning up after pets is significantly more time-consuming if the pet owner hasn’t done their part. This extra time spent (and any remediation of damages or stains) is what can be charged back to the pet owner. If this seems unreasonable to prospective guests with pets, this property may not be a good fit.
We enjoyed our stay but a few upgrades to the condo would make a world of difference here. The kitchen had no garbage disposal which is a little odd but the real kitchen issue was lack of dishwasher. We did not enjoy spending time hand washing dishes on our vacation. The only other problem was the mattresses. They were both very hard. We woke up several mornings with our backs hurting. Softer mattresses are a must! Location was great, property manager was very helpful, the condo was very clean, it had plenty of towels and linens and we enjoyed our stay but those small upgrades to the condo would make it a near perfect experience.

The unit was super clean, well equipped and private, tucked in the corner and away from the IOP crowds. The management company was superb, giving us tons of info and tips for exploring. The beach is a 5 minute walk. It was perfect.

Situated in a quiet but very convenient location, this rental place is ideal for everything you want to enjoy for a beach vacation. Walking distance to the beach, nearby restaurants, grocery stores, ice cream shop, bike rental, and 20 minutes driving to downtown and other historic places. Checking in and checking out instructions are very easy to follow as Beth (the manager) sent a very detailed email regarding the process. Beth is so thoughtful, and you basically find all the answers you want from the email, and she even told us not to worry about the glass the we broke accidentally. The two-bedroom condo is not very big, but we found everything we need for our family of 5. The beds are comfortable, and the 2 bathrooms are spacious considering the size of the condo, which is most important part for me when looking for rental properties. The welcome snacks are so heart warming and all of them are the kind of snacks I love, so I even doubt that Beth can read my mind. The only imperfection is that there are only simple shutters for windows. I am an early bird, so I didn’t bother me too much, but some people are very light sensitive, so maybe the owner can consider to install some block-out curtains.
Property was perfectly suited to my needs. Generous sized bedrooms and bathrooms with adequate kitchen outfitted with all the necessities. Loved how close it was to the beach and walking distance to restaurants. I had great Wi-fi which was important since I worked during the day there.
Beth was a gracious property manager who was accessible when needed. She even left a cute Valentine gift bag complete with a treat for my dog. The only things that would make it better would be an additional mirror - maybe in one of the bedrooms? One weekend two friends stayed with me and it made it difficult to get ready with only the two. And a little shelf area to hold toiletries in the king-sized bathroom. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.
Our wedding was postponed so decided to take a trip with the pups to get away from the current stresses of the world. This place gives you the comforts of home just steps away from the beach, shops and restaurants. We only drove our car one day to explore the city of Charleston which was only 30 minutes away. We rented a moped one day to explore the island along with Sullivan's island. We did not have a bad meal and the shops were well equipped with personal needs and really neat souvenirs. Beth the manager was amazing and very responsive. I highly recommend a stay here. Such a beautiful destination! Thank you so much Beth!
Great location, super clean property and condo and friendly guests. The property manager was great and communicated well before, during, and after stay. Our dog felt at home and had a great time as well. We enjoyed walking the short distance to all activities! Can't wait to come back!
