Birdsong oasis

We had an amazing stay, the atmosphere was so relaxing and everything was set up just perfectly right down to the personalised welcome sign. We'd love to reccommend to anyone considering this home away from home.

Very quiet and private location surrounded by bush with amazing birdlife. Really prompt and accurate communication with our hosts, check-in very easy. Unit and facilities superbly comfortable, clean and well appointed. Far more provided by host (books, magazines, food etc) than we had expected. Next level to anything we have experienced to date.

Well worth staying here. The accommodation is beautifully presented with food items included. The gem is all the tuis' in the surrounding bush. Very private, but also close to the beach and cycle tracks.

Perfect Spot

Lovely secluded setting on the edge of the bush, saw lots of tui, lorikeets, some ducklings and even a turtle. Very clean and exceptionally well provisioned. Thanks for a lovely relaxing weekend

Once again our stay has been amazing. The peaceful setting is only interrupted by native bird song.. the tui’s, quails, mr rabbit and mr turtle are a pleasure to watch. Maria is an amazing host and we always enjoy staying here.

Ultimate Hosts!!

From the moment you arrive at their secluded place you are greated with bird song, trees and a very warm welcome. Maria has gone to the effort of putting up a welcome sign with our names on and as you walk inside you are greated with flowers and many more treats.The place is immaculate. Would love to come back soon.

Peace & Generosity

This is a quiet, magical hideaway. The long driveway into lush native bush makes you feel like you're getting away from it all. Bird calls are your soundtrack. And Maria's hospitality will keep you well-nourished with generous breakfast supplies. The perfect place for some R&R.

Truly a hidden gem

This lovely little unit was absolutely perfect for a quick getaway for my brother and I. Located in a quiet spot at the end of an enchanting driveway peace and serenity abound. Everything was clean and tidy but not bare. The kitchen was well equipped and held a few extras which meant we didn’t have to make any mad dashes to the supermarket for forgotten items. The bed and futon were comfortable. The outdoor area was amazing. Highly recommend.

Peace and quiet amongst the birds and trees

Lovely place to have done rest and relaxation. Comfy with lots of bird song and trees…was certainly an opportunity to chill out. Nice tidy unit. Welcoming host and bonus of fruit and breakfast.

Fabulous native bush and bird retreat

Our hosts Maria and Chris were fabulous and made this lovely separate accommodation so welcoming for us. The bird life was abundant and their songs just delightful. We will definitely visit again.
