Such a beautiful place to stay and it was very clean. I appreciated everything being labeled and getting the tour at the beginning. Would definitely stay again!!
Our stay at the Watertower in the Redwoods was perfect! Rennie was so friendly and attentive and gave us an overview of our accommodations. We loved how comfortable and peaceful it was and being surrounded by the redwoods was magical. Every detail was thought through and we appreciated all the amenities. We will definitely choose Rennie and Hope’s watertower the next time we get-away to Mendocino!
This experience was absolutely delightful! The location is stunning, and the property itself is incredibly charming and thoughtfully set up. The hosts have clearly put a lot of care into making everything easy and comfortable for guests—light switches, doors, appliances, and amenities are all clearly labeled, with detailed instructions wherever they’re helpful. We really appreciated all of those thoughtful touches. It made the whole stay feel welcoming, relaxing, and effortless. We would absolutely stay here again!
Very cute spot and very clean. We found it a little awkward having the bedroom upstairs and the bathroom downstairs. We were glad to have a toilet in the bedroom with a screen concealing it. Downstairs had a nice little table to have morning coffee. Keurig coffee, half & half and a bottle of sparkling water in the refrigerator was nice. Parking was great and it was a short drive to Mendocino Village. We relaxed with our glass of wine in the lovely small garden. Enjoyed our stay!
You wil not find a more thoughtfullly mananged and clean place to stay! The hosts are friendly, helpful, and have thought of everything! Very cool spot to stay and great location; would definitely stay here again!
The stay was very peaceful and relaxing. A 5 minute drive to the village. Although the stairs were not an issue for us it may be for others. I would recommend this place to my friends and family
Unique property! We loved it! Private. Quiet. very thoughtfully set up. Indoor hot tub and toilet in bedroom was a big hit. Immaculate, less than three miles from main street, set amid huge redwoods. Check this place out, you WON'T be disappointed. Our host, HOPE was the best!

Amazing weekend. The Water tower in the redwoods was quiet and perfect. Hot tub was nice after a long hike. Highly recommend
Waking up with a giant redwood outside our window was sublime. The unique bedroom with stunning decor was magical. Everything about this lodging was excellent—clear directions for everything, host suggestions for activities and dining, our own private patio area surrounded by lovely gardens.
Beautiful, secluded place, town about 2 miles away. Host has lots of local info available. Hot tub had a small glitch but was readily resolved. Host has thought of many small details to make stay comfortable. Would definitely go back again.
Mendocino is my ‘happy place’& I wanted to celebrate ringing in the new year there! The novelty of staying in a water tower interested me & I was in luck booking this place. It was minutes from downtown Mendocino & yet secluded in location farther up the road. The views of the trees were so calming.
Hosts are friendly and very helpful. Their place is clean, quiet and we loved the treehouse feel of the bedroom. The location is perfect for short drives to all of the local attractions. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
