Julia's Cottage is a charming, welcoming little home, where you will be inclined to kick back and just soak in the beauty surrounding you. Antique queen size bed and comfy sofa downstairs, with a queen size mattress in the loft. We can accommodate 4. Large front porch which looks out towards the beauty of Music Springs.Full kitchen and outdoor charcoal grill included.
Enjoy your own outdoor fire pit inside the Cottage Garden, exclusively provided for Julia's Cottage guests.

Julia's Cottage was the perfect place to stay to get away from it all and to rest and relax. As a host, Vicki was always available, always communicating and helping with whatever was needed, while at the same time helping with suggestions of how to make the stay better! The check in and out process was easy, the stay was perfect, the area was very clean! Looking forward to staying here again in the near future!

So Peaceful

What a beautiful property, quiet and peaceful. I came to think through some things and just needed some quiet time away. Mike and Vickie were wonderful hosts, great communication and the cottage was ready to receive me as promised. Definitely want to come back!

Experience tiny home living

Excellent place for a small family or couple. Quiet and peaceful with a beautiful grouping of pine trees and green grass that looks like it’s out of a movie. All the camping spots and cabins have their own fire pits. Cabin had more than enough supplies for a comfortable stay.

Mother & Son Getaway

My son and I truly enjoyed our getaway at Music Springs! Julia’s Cottage was cozy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit, outdoor games, and walking path. We wrapped up our stay with Java & Jesus with the hosts. We would definitely recommend this gem!

There are always pros and cons to every place I stay. Cons:1. There is no bathroom sink. I had to use the kitchen sink to brush my teeth. I’m a guy so it didn’t bother me.2. To get to the location you have to travel over hard packed dirt roads. It rain when I left, but it wasn’t an issue since I drive a truck. That’s pretty much it for the cons.Pros:1. While it’s a little small, I was by myself so it was the perfect size. 2. Bed was big and comfortable with plenty of pillows.3. Single shower, but it has plenty of room and plenty of hot water.4. Kitchen has everything you need.5. The recliners are very comfortable.6. The AC works very well. 7. The scenery is very nice and quiet. Very relaxing.8. Communication with owner was quick when needed.9. I used the maps on my iPhone and did not have any issues locating the cottage. The owners had good signs pointing to the cottage and where to park.All in all I would stay here again.

Great stay

I stayed 3 nights with my two grandsons we had a great time. We fished the near by lakes it’s best if you have a boat. On Saturday we drove to Lonestar to the water park on lake that was really nice. Great local restaurants food was great and the people were very friendly. Overall great experience. The only issue we had was barking dogs early in the morning.

much better then staying here then a motel at same price

we use this small home for Friday late afternoon stay over night , Then our first meal Saturday morning then left for the day return for night . Pack up Sunday morning and left for our actives in Big Sandy for rest of morning and afternoon . Then headed by home . If not book next year will rent it again . It was very peaceful there had ever thing we needed there for our stay

Week in the woods

The property is secluded in the woods. Very peaceful and relaxing. The cottage is small but has everything you need. Ate outside on the porch, no kitchen table. Had a beautiful view & peaceful surroundings. Would definitely stay there again.

We have tried to figure out how to add a little sink to that small bathroom and still be able to get into the room. It's a tiny house. Luckily, the kitchen sink is only a few steps away.

Great getaway!

Check in and check out were very simple and the owners were very accessible when needed. The cottage has everything you need and it’s very cozy. Everything about this place is well built and well kept. There was a big storm the evening we arrived that knocked out power for 14 hours to the whole town. We did have water because the owners ran a generator to power the well and they invited us for coffee in the morning. Thankfully later in the morning, the power came back on. The roads going in and out are covered in sand instead of rock, which made for interesting driving, but it wasn’t a problem.

Julia's Cottage

We had at a great stay at Music Springs. Perfect spot to get away & relax for a few days. Vicki was very good at communicating with us. The towels, sheets & blankets smelled nice & fresh. Bathroom was very clean. The cottage was a little dusty & mirrors somewhat hazy but not to a point where we felt uncomfortable. It's located off dirt roads so it's understandable. We have family in the area so we would love to visit the cottage again sometime.

Peaceful Stay

We needed a place to get away and just rest. A place away from the city that would offer us solace. Having stayed at Music Springs before, we were positive this would be our place. It did not disappoint us! We were able to rest, relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery in a lovely cabin. The hummingbirds, dragonflies and butterflies were a bonus! We went fishing at a local lake, dined at local restaurants and were able to just fix our own in the convenient kitchen. Dual recliners, comfy bed. Shaded sitting area made coffee and meal time great with a view that's breathtaking. Thanks Vicki and Mike for being such wonderful hosts.
