Rent a house in a very quiet place, in the middle of the forest. A home with a private road. All comfort (linens and sheets provided) with a bathroom redone. All in a typical Swedish style of the last century.

The Värmland region is famous for its thousands of lakes and huge forests and beautiful red mansions. Discover Lake Vänern, the largest in Western Europe with its charming beaches and superb fishing opportunities. There are salmon, zander and char (non-mandatory fishing license).

The house is 10 kilometers from Kristinehamn and the E18 motorway between Oslo and Stockholm. Kristinehamn, where you will find everything you need. You are 250 kilometers from Oslo and 250 kilometers from Stockholm. Gothenburg is at the same distance.

Welcome and do not be surprised to see deer, hares or elk in your garden!

Great stay in the little house on the prairie

Our stay in the little house on the pairie, as it is called by the owner, has been very nice. The house was very neat, the surroundings great and the owners very helpful. There are plenty opportunities for activities and visits in the nearby area. If you like to experience the life in a typical Swedish house in the woods, then this is the place to be.

Wir haben die Woche in dem Haus sehr genossen. Die Lage ist super, es ist ruhig und die Natur in der Umgebung sehr schön.Die Inneneinrichtung ist sauber, aber sehr rustikal, wie auch auf den Fotos zu sehen.Fahrräder und Grill waren in keinem guten Zustand.

Aussen Top innen Flop

Das Haus mit seiner Lage wäre top gewesen. Leider wurde im Innern des Haus seit bald 100 Jahren nichts gemacht. Wer den muffigen Geschmack von kalten Rauch mag der kommt voll auf seine Rechnung, die anderen sollten es lassen. Auch war es kalt in diesem Haus und nicht alle Räume konnten beheizt werden. Einige Utensilien wie Grill oder Mikrowelle wurde draussen im Schopf in einem erbärmlichem Zustand gefunden. Schade um dieses schöne Haus.

Ferien in der Einsamkeit

Wir wollten die Einsamkeit, wir haben sie bekommen! Inmitten eines riesigen Wiesenareals allein zu sein, das hat schon was.Wunderbar... Der nächste Ort mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ist 13km entfernt, dort gibt es alles, was man braucht. Leider hatten wir nicht so schönes Wetter wie erhofft, daher konnten wir das Boot am nahe gelegenen, wunderschönen See nicht nutzen. Die Fahrräder sind in die Jahre gekommen, aber noch brauchbar. Leider war das nette Wohnzimmer nicht heizbar ( es gibt einen Kaminofen, der war aber ohne Holz) sodass wir die Zeit des schlechten, kalten Wetters in der Küche oder im Schlafraum verbringen mussten. Die Küche ist einfach und ebenfalls in die Jahre gekommen, was uns ab und an mal störte, da wir so viel Zeit dort verbracht haben,Küchenutensilien waren dafür mehr als reichlich vorhanden, kochen kann man also prima! Improvisationstalent kann aber nicht schaden... Die Vermieter waren sehr bemüht, haben uns auch neue Wäsche bzw. die Möglichkeit des Waschens in ihrem Haus in der Nähe zum Wochenende angeboten, wir hätten jederzeit Hilfe in Anspruch nehmen können. Sehr gern haben wir draußen im Garten oder im wind-und wettergeschützten Vorbau gesessen, wenn es denn möglich war, haben Rehe, Hasen und einen Fuchs gesehen, wenn auch selten. Aber die wunderschöne, weitläufige Natur hat uns sehr gut getan! Die gefürchteten schwedischen Mücken gab es übrigens nicht! Das war wunderbar!! Dafür Unmengen Beeren und Pilze. Alles in allem erholsame,urige, Tage.

Wunderbare Tage inmitten schönster Natur

Wir genossen den Charme des Hauses und die grosse Stille der Umgebung (jeden Tag sahen wir einen jungen Hirsch und Hasen). Der Ort war ideal, um die Schäreninseln vor Kristinehamn zu erkunden, zu baden und zu spazieren. Auch den Kindern hat es sehr gefallen! Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen wieder!

Een heerlijk huisje in het groen

Als je houdt van levendigheid en luxe moet je hier niet zijn. Maar als je zoekt naar eenvoud en rust, is dit authentieke, meer dan 100 jaar oude, huisje precies de plek waar je dat kunt vinden. Midden in het groen, vlakbij prachtige meren (fietsen en kano aanwezig!).

Schwedenhaus wie aus dem Bilderbuch

Das Haus ist wirklich wie beschrieben - ein Schwedenhaus wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Liebevoll renoviert und eingerichtet. Hier fühlt man sich wie bei Michel, Petterson, Findus und Bullerbü. Tolle Lage, See und Badestelle nicht weit und sogar Fahrräder (auch passende für die Kinder) und Kayak vorhanden. Wir haben uns hier rundum wohl gefühlt. Danke auch an die Gastgeber Björn & Patrick für das herzliche Willkommen.

Zeer charmant huis in het midden van de natuur

We hadden een perfect verblijf in dit prachtige oude huisje in het midden van de natuur. Het had alles in huis om ons gezinnetje (koppel met twee kinderen) met alle comfort en ruimte te voorzien. De eigenaren waren bovendien zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We maakten ook gebruik van de kano, die op een boogscheut van het huisje aan het meer beschikbaar was voor de gasten. Wij komen nog terug!

A traditional Swedish house in a beautiful setting.

We were looking for a place to stay with plenty of character within easy reach of a town with supermarket and other services. This house was perfect. We made full use of the canoe and took the opportunity to fish the local lake. Bjorn was very helpful when we arrived showing us around and making us feel welcome. We have not slept so well for a long time - so peaceful with plenty of fresh air. Lovely local walks and lots of wildlife to enjoy including eagles, deer and hares. The house has all you need for self-catering with plenty of space. A very enjoyable and memorable stay. Alastair, Karen and the boys.

ein Schwedenhaus, wie bei "Peterson und Findus"

Das Schwedenhaus ist genauso wie beschrieben. Gesucht wurde von uns ein ruhig gelegenes Schwedenhaus wie bei Peterson und Findus. Klasse gelegen und super Freizeitmöglichkeiten zum Entspannen. Kontaktmöglichkeit zum Vermieter waren, falls gewünscht jederzeit möglich. Auch wenn die Wohnungsmiete im Vorraus in zwei Überweisungsschritten getätigt wurde, ist alles seriös abgelaufen. Wir würden jederzeit Familie Wallbom weiterempfehlen.

Wunderschönes Schwedenhaus

Wer kennt sie nicht, die Geschichten von Astrid Lindgren? Betritt man dieses wunderschöne Ferienhaus, so glaubt man Lina sitzt auf der Küchenbank und Michel kommt gleich um die nächste Ecke geflitzt! Das Haus ist liebevoll renoviert, sehr gut ausgestattet und liegt herrlich inmitten einer idyllischen Landschaft von Wiesen und Wäldern. Tauchen kleinere Probleme auf, so werden diese von den freundlichen Vermietern wie von Geisterhand behoben. Für Schwedenurlauber mit vollgepacktem Auto ist die bereits vorhandene Bettwäsche, sowie die Fahrräder sehr von Vorteil. Das zur Verfügung stehende Kanu, sowie einen kleinen Strand am See erreicht man mit dem Auto in nur 5 Minuten, mit dem Fahrrad dauert es etwas länger. In einer viertel Stunde ist man in Kristinehamn, wo es vom Supermarkt, über Restaurants (Mastmagasinet!) bis zu Kunst und Kultur alles gibt. Sehr zu empfehlen: eine Bootsfahrt zur Insel Valön mit anschließender Wanderung durch das Naturschutzgebiet und eine Draisinenfahrt. Alles in allem ein toller Urlaub, auch wenn sich der Elch nicht blicken ließ!

Redécouverte du calme et de la nature

Magnifique séjour, malheureusement trop court. A notre arrivée, heureuse surprise de découvrir une habitation de rêve, pleine de charme ainsi qu' un mot d'accueil du propriétaire. Le canoë, la pêche, la marche en forêt toute proche sont les activités offertes par cette magnifique région. A une dizaine de kilomètres, Kristinehamn offre les commerces et d'autres découvertes. Nous avons hâte de pouvoir revenir.

La petite maison dans la prairie suédoise!

Nous rentrons d'un magnifique séjour en Suède dans cette adorable maison, en tout point conforme à l'annonce. Nous avons apprécié la maison très propre et bien équipée, le TRES grand jardin, les vélos, canoë, barbecue à disposition. Elle est parfaite pour des vacances en famille au calme: baignade dans les lacs, pêche, balades et très bien située pour découvrir la Suède (nous avons découvert Karlstad, Nora, Stockholm...). Nous n'avons pas eu la chance de voir un renne ou un élan dans le jardin, mais des lièvres, des chevreuils, et des grues qui se promenaient tranquillement juste devant la fenêtre de la chambre! Un grand merci à Patrick et Björn pour leur disponibilité par mail avant le départ, leur accueil chaleureux, leur gentillesse et leurs conseils précieux pour les visites!

Erholung und Natur pur

Dies war einer der schönsten Urlaube bisher! Ein urgemütliches Haus auf einem wunderschönen Grundstück inmitten des Waldes, umgeben von Wiesen. Wer die Ruhe sucht, der findet sie hier. Keine Autogeräusche, kein Telefon, sondern das Rauschen des Windes in den Bäumen und Vogelgezwitscher. Ein wunderschönes Haus mit allem was man braucht, um einen wundervoll entspannten Urlaub zu verbringen. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und entgegenkommend! Absolut empfehlenswert! Wir würden sofort wieder hin fahren!

Charmante maison pour merveilleux séjour en Suède

Nous avons passé de délicieuses vacances dans cette adorable maison au parfum désuet de nos grands-mères. L'âme de cette maison pousse à la quiétude, le propriétaire est avenant et très arrangeant (prêt de vélos, de canoë, gilet de sauvetage adulte) et l'emplacement au beau milieu d'une clairière donne envie de prolonger le séjour. Nous avons découvert et sommes tombés amoureux de la Suède que nous avons intensément visité.

"Très jolie maison, pleine de charme ! L''environnement est parfait : calme, espace, nature généreuse. Cette maison est idéale pour passer d''excellentes vacances en famille avec ses enfants (jeux dans le jardin, vélos, balades et cueillette des myrtilles en fôret, pêche...). Voiture indispensable pour rejoindre la ville, toute proche. Les propriètaires sont particulièrement sympathiques et accueillants : tout à été facile et agréable, depuis la préparation du séjour jusqu''au jour du départ .
