Not the best experience for our family

This is our first and last time using this app. We have always used the other app for years and no problems. First thing we saw when we walked in was a huge Roach. Tried contacting the host the night we checked in and no response, contacted customer service and even supplied them with a photo of the roach and they said it was up to the host to give us a refund. Only thing the host offered was to clean the place while we were there already, no mention of any refund. Ended up staying at a hotel. Total waste of money

It was noises! Hate staying in btwn a mechanical shop & loud ass neighbors in the duplex, hated it.

I will never stay there again or refer anybody! It was noisy ass hell! It was not comfortable. It’s the only house in the block. The water in the tub didn’t go dwn fast enough.

Comfortable and Convenient

Gert Town was perfectly suitable for our short time in New Orleans. The space was clean, conveniently located, and well equipped, especially for our needs. If you are looking for that place that is a good jump-off point for New Orleans visits, this will work, provided you plan on doing your own driving. Gert Town is not located near any restaurants, nor is it in a walkable area. But, it is easy to access the City and Metairie by car. The hosts are great and very responsive, and we couldn't of had a better spot to stay for a quick non-tourist visit.
