*** Summer 2025 - Lake Lure Update ***

Per the Town of Lake Lure: Lake Use in 2025- Town Council and Town leadership are keenly aware of the importance of reopening the Lake as soon as it is safe to do so. Given the timing of the work that has been completed thus far and the need for ongoing work moving forward, it is extremely unlikely that the Lake will be able to open for the 2025 summer season. (This includes motorized and non-motorized vessels and swimming.) For those of you who have been following our storm recovery process closely, this news may not be a surprise to you. I thought it was important to share this news with you directly. Please note that Town Council and Town leadership will continue to evaluate options for opening the Lake or portions of the Lake and we will continue to keep you informed with any updates as new information becomes available.

Creekside Cottage is brand new and ready for you to come and relax and enjoy the sounds of nature! Located in Riverbend at Lake Lure and offers two bedrooms and two baths plus an upper loft for kids or a nice place to escape for an afternoon nap. The living room and kitchen's high ceilings expand this small but super cool and modern home. The kitchen has granite counters and beautiful tile work, and the beautiful tile extends itself into the bathrooms; the hall bath has a large walk-in shower, and the master has a great soaking tub and open shower. Truly a pleasurable home, and we feel confident you will enjoy your time here! This is a quiet, family-friendly area, and we are excited to have you stay with us.

Riverbend at Lake Lure Amenities
Enjoy all Riverbend has to offer. This home is just a short walk to the lakes in Riverbend, Mirror Lake, Little Mirror Lake, and the trails along the Broad River. There is a nice sandy beach on Mirror Lake for your summer enjoyment: swim in Mirror Lake, build sandcastles on Mirror Lake Beach (there’s a play area for children), and have a meal at the covered picnic site complete with picnic tables, rocking chairs, stone fireplaces to BBQ lunch, restrooms, and spectacular views, hike, bike, or jog one of the many trails, or sit and relax by the waterfall and river.

Creekside Cottage is perfect for every season! Enjoy the beautiful snowy weather in the winter, where a cozy cottage feels just right. Visit in the summer when the weather is perfect all the time, and you can enjoy the soothing summer breezes and beautiful sunsets from every window, not to mention the awesome mountain views. Everything is beginning to bloom in the spring, and the area is known for the beauty of its autumn colors. No matter the season, this mountain home, our beautiful area, and Lake Lure have so much to offer, whether it is plentiful choices of restaurants or shopping or a fun outdoor adventure you and your loved ones will never forget!
