Spacious home for family getaway

Nice house with large living room and kitchen for family game night. Spacious comfortable backyard which we would have enjoyed if the weather was better. Perfect for a couple of families. We will be back!

Amazing Home Away from Home

We had such a wonderful time, the pool was fantastic and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing week stay. It was a great location to beaches and San Diego! We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful oasis

Very well suited home for our family of 8 adults visiting the area for a wedding. Every couple had plenty of private space and we all enjoyed the pool & jacuzzi.

Wonderful family time!

We had a great family gathering here and explored the beaches and attractions of the San Diego area. The rooms are generous in size and plenty of space for 5 adults and 5 kids! We absolutely loved playing in the pool and soaking in the hot tub under the stars.

Amazing hosts for our Wedding weekend

My whole family remarked multiple times throughout the weekend about what a great place we found. The beds we’re comfortable, the kitchen always well stocked, and the outdoor space was perfect for our large family. The host reached out to answer any questions ahead of our stay and was easy to get ahold of when I did.

Quiet Oasis

We had a very nice, comfortable weekend trip. The house was perfect for our group (6 adults). All the rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. The whole house is really charming. The grounds are beautiful and perfectly maintained. We recommend breakfast at Home Sweet Home. Chicken Lisa's and Stone Brewery for dinner. Each place was delicious! Such a wonderful weekend!

Perfect Getaway Spot!

Our stay in Escondido was amazing. The house was spotlessly clean, secluded, and simply great. We enjoyed using the BBQ pit without any issues and the hot tub was a hit, especially on the cooler day we stayed in. The house had everything for our little ones, from toys to a high chair. The hosts are great and responsive. Overall, it was a great experience. Thank you!

Wonderful Family Trip

This home is an older home that has been updated /remodeled in most areas and it was perfect for us as a family. The kitchen offered almost every spice and pantry item you could ask for! There was a pak n’ play as well as a high chair set up for us. They cater to families and the location was great for all the area attractions! John was one of the BEST property owners I have ever dealt with! We even left a few items behind and he graciously sent them to us, at NO cost! I would highly recommend this quiet home to anyone.

What a great time

We couldn’t have been more happy with our stay! We were traveling with our daughters family, and there was literally some thing for everyone in this home. The backyard was an oasis, and the house was very clean, and every detail was taken care of. We especially enjoyed eating some fresh citrus from the trees on the property I would recommend this home the girls really enjoyed the playroom downstairs. It had everything that they love to play with. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

great location to access so many places and things to do

Property is well-maintained and the property owner was very helpful in advance and responsive to our needs. My daughter and husband and two children (age 3 and 11 months) were comfortable sleeping in the lower level, while adult son, wife and I were very happy in the main level. Pool and hot tub were a nice way to entertain everyone, and the gardens are beautiful. It's also a great location to see area attractions, although we spent much of our time on the property.

Experienced VRBO owners was evident in that everything was at our fingertips, as if our needs had been anticipated. The house is large, clean and in good condition. Having two master suites was the best! The neighborhood is upper-scale and quiet. Easy to find - within 5 minutes of freeway access and town amenities. Highest recommendation - will definitely stay here again.

Very nice secluded family getaway

This property was beautiful it was secluded and was up away from things so it was quiet but was a short drive to stores and restaurants. We enjoined the pool and spa and the beautiful back yard but also had wonderful dinners inside and on the upper deck. The inside of the house is very nice. The play room and toys and all the pool toys were great for the kids. And the private lower room was very comfortable and we very much enjoyed our time there. I would definitely recommend.

A Remarkable Getaway

Our family, with six children ranging in age from 11 to 26 years, gathered at this gorgeous home to celebrate a local cousin's wedding nearby. Not only was it clean with plenty of room, but everything was beautiful, comfortable, in excellent condition and supplying for all of our needs. Most appreciated was a quiet, lovely place for us to just be together. After a long day seeing extended family, we were so glad to escape to the hot tub and unwind. We will cherish the memories made here for years to come.

Family Getaway

House was clean, big, and beautiful! We stayed for a weekend in San Diego to attend my graduation, 8 adults and 4 children. The house was large enough to accommodate our large group and never felt like we were on top of each other. The bedrooms and bathroom were very clean/organized , the kitchen had all the gadget we needed to bake, grill, and prep. Our children loved the pool and hot tub! The owner, John was attentive before, during, and after our stay- he responded quickly to my emails/text, accommodated our check out time, and reimbursed our deposit in a timely manner. We accidentally left a belonging at the house and without hesitation John shipped it to our home. Great time!!! Definitely going back.

Wonderful for family vacation

This home has everything you need for a family vacation. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the bathrooms were clean, and the backyard was beautiful. Even though this is an older home, the owners have updated most areas and it’s beautifully decorated. Our 2 year old grandson appreciated the toys! The high chair and other items for children were well maintained so there’s no need to bring your own. A few notes: the area on the pool level is really nice and but you can’t get to it without going downstairs through the garage or taking the deck stairs down off of the kitchen. I didn’t quite understand this when I read the description of the home. It didn’t present a problem for us,But if you plan to have kids sleep down there it may not work. Also, there is no air conditioner (which is noted in the description) and while we were there in July, it didn’t cool down enough at night to sleep down there. However, there were fans in the closets so perhaps that would help. The only other thing I would recommend when renting is don’t be shy about taking the owner up on the offer to have the pool cleaned more often. The trees close to the pool do drop a lot of leaves in the pool and on the pool deck. I ended up sweeping the deck most mornings.which wasn’t a big deal. Most sightseeing was a minimum of 30 minutes but we didn’t mind at all. Spent time at Balboa, Seaport Village, Sunset Cliffs, the zoo, Del Mar, La Jolla. Would rent again!
