The Overlook at The Pinery is the perfect place to stay during your visit to Colorado Springs. Located on a hilltop between historic Old Colorado City and downtown Colorado Springs, local attractions are only a few minutes away. Your next door neighbor is The Pinery, so there is no closer location to the beautiful wedding and conference venue. Close enough to walk, even in heels. Enjoy beautiful views of the mountains from the panoramic windows in the main living area. Sit down to a nice meal in the dining area. This unique, cheerful and cozy rental offers an open concept living area, large dining table for 6, a worktable for dedicated computer space, and two private bedrooms. We want our guests to feel at home and enjoy many fond memories during their stay. Don't miss out, book now!

This is the upper level of a two-unit building. Guests are expected to be mindful of the neighboring lower unit and keep noise to a minimum for the enjoyment of everyone. We want everyone to have a wonderful experience while staying.

OFF STREET PARKING FOR TWO CARS ONLY. Additional parking is sometimes available depending on the occupancy of the lower unit. Overflow parking is available across the street in the unpaved alley. Please park to the side and do not block the street.

Great place. I would have given it a 5 star rating but the internet was a bit slow, the sofa really needs to be replaced, and would be nice to have laundry facilities inside. Was kinda dark going behind the house at night. Otherwise great place.

Amazing view and experience.

Pros: Full kitchen with most basic items available. Blender, toaster, etc are all there. Linens were very well made available and stacked in a modern bathroom. You walk outside and you are LITERALLY looking at mountains. Within 5 min of Old Co. Sprgs, with amazing (non-commercial) ma-n-pa shops. Close to amazing restaurants like Mountain Shadows (get there early for the Cinn Rolls). Within 5 min to Walmart (for grocery/other shopping). Cons: Many pots/pans without lids, ad hoc set of glasses (2x type A, 3x of type B, 1x type C. Electric range was slower than most to get going, but that's fairly typical. Only 4 plates, which means even though we slept 5x ppl, we had to get some paper plates, otherwise we'd have to run dishwasher or hand wash after [every] meal. Overall: We didn't go there to worry about dishes, stocked ktichen etc, we came for the environment, mountains and Colorado. We'd stay there again but would come more prepared :).

Great location but needs a little TLC

Pros: location is great and in a quiet neighborhood. The beds are comfortable and bed linens clean. Plenty of bath towels and wash rags but did have a couple stains. Check in went well. Cons: the pictures online look fantastic. The place is actually more run down with rips in the couch, shower curtain falling down with a rusty curtain rod, trash can in bathroom still had a feminine napkin on the lid, and kitchen was minimally stocked with only one small plate, no pitcher, and the tv does not work with Apple. When we did try to mirror, the guests below came to the door and were upset we were connecting to their tv even though we were using the WiFi and Samsung TV listed on the screen. We also had to wash and put away all dishes, clean out the refrigerator, take out the trash, put towels in bathroom, clean coffee maker. Seemed a bit much since the cleaning fee was charged. The upper floor is warmer but the fans help with that.

This VRBO was very clean, had everything we needed, and was less than 15 minutes to so many things -- downtown Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, the Garden of the Gods, Red Rock Canyon Open Space, and North Cheyenne Canon Park. Really worked out well for our family.

Colorado Springs vacation

The location of the house was perfect for us. It was centrally located and a short driving distance to all of our destinations. The house was extremely clean - something that is very important to me. I would say it’s the cleanest vacation home we’ve stayed in.

Great view, layout and location

Loved having space for family to both convene AND have privacy -- great living room, dining space, and kitchen upstairs with mountain views; 2 bedrooms and bath downstairs. Because I cook where I stay, kitchen cleanliness was an issue for me. In cabinets I found multiple oily pans, and dried food on several plates. So long as I rewashed before I used things, kitchen was convenient, functional, very nice!

Colorado Springs - Great Deal and location

Host was nice and communicative. Property was solid in a great location. Easy walk to downtown. We had expected washer/dryer to be in the property, and I would have appreciated small amenities like more blankets. But overall good place at a reasonable price.

Fantastic location!

Loved the location of this property. Close to downtown and OCC. Check in was easy, property was very clean and the beds were soooo comfortable. A few personal preferences of note: shower pressure was soft but very quiet. Never heard the shower when in use by others. Blackout curtains in the bedrooms much appreciated. Several oscillating fans are available. The temperature on the top floor is warmer than rest of the property. But the window view is worth it. And it’s not often you find a property with two queen beds in one room.

Spring Break Getaway

Beautiful upstairs duplex with a great location! The area was quiet at night with a pretty view of the mountains. Centrally located for both Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. We spent the week checking out all the area activities and it was so nice to come back to a home, instead of a hotel. The beds were super comfortable and there were plenty of towels and soaps for our group. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice stay

This is a nice, clean property with a beautiful view of the mountains, lots of windows! The management company was very responsive to the questions i had before checking in. The only drawback is no laundry available. Overall it was a nice stay.

Not up to a 5 star rating

Check in was clunky as I expected all the check-in information to be in the app. Apparently, I received an email from property management company. A quick call to VRBO and a couple texts to the company got us in. However, it was dark and whereas a light was over the B unit, our A unit was dark and we drug our bags up 2 small flights of stairs. The first set of stairs had no railing. More about that later. There were a lot more stairs inside the property. Eight from the landing, and six more up to the living area. Let's get back to the outside stairs. Not a problem with out without a railing, but once it began to snow the stairs became treacherous and dangerous. No shovel was offered, and soon the outdoor stairs were covered with not only snow, but ice. I've stayed in other snowy areas and a shovel was provided. The unit was probably the least equipped we've stayed at. While I don't expect a full fridge, etc., but it would have been nice to at least have one day's worth of coffee. None provided. Only salt and pepper were provided. Once again this is unusual for this type of rental. Missing were foil, Saran wrap or plastic bags. TV hookup was clumsy and time-consuming. This rental is good for sleeping, but if you plan on living in the unit then look elsewhere.

Great place to stay when in town for figure skating

This was the perfect spot to stay while my daughter competed at the U.S. Olympic Training Facility. Comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood, AMAZING views, and spacious enough for the 3 of us. Absolutely will book here again if we get the opportunity! Lots of great places and things to do near by and so appreciated the recommendations from the owners. Thank you for sharing this great space with us!! It made for a wonderful first trip to Colorado!
