This popular 2 bed apartment offers great views to Bribie Island, the park and the boardwalk. As part of the quiet Golden Shores complex, it is ideally located in the sought after northern end of Golden Beach. Separated from the water by just a narrow strip of lightly wooded parkland, it is an easy stroll to the water, Stockland Shopping Centre, or the Golden Beach cafes.

Enjoy views over Pumicestone Passage and Caloundra from the kitchen, or while you enjoy breakfast on the balcony.

On those hot balmy afternoons, you can laze away beside the pool, take a dip in the refreshing ocean waters only metres from your doorstep, or enjoy a walk along the famous boardwalk that could lead you anywhere.

The lounge is furnished for relaxation with comfortable chairs and a heater for the cooler months. For entertainment there is free Wifi, and guests can download from their own providers directly to the Smart Tv for quality viewing.

There is also a radio and Cd player, a Dvd player with a library of more than 20 classic movies and a small collection of books and board games.

The modern kitchen has all of the usual amenities including microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, and an ample supply of crockery, utensils and homeware.

Both bedrooms are airconditioned.

Everything was good except for one thing. The property needs to be fly screened as I suffered many bites from sandflies.

Mouldy and smelly

The whole appartment smelt like it had been closed up for a year, but it did not go away for the entire week. Black mould on the curtains was not appealing. The bathroom was great, as long as you didnt look at the black mould all over the ceiling. There was broken towel railing parts left there, and the toilet leaked blue water from behind it. There was also a puddle of water from the leaking washing machine when we arrived.

Booked online after viewing pictures and reading reviews. Sometimes you don't get what you see. This was above expectations, very well appointed, cooking utensils, pots& pans, cutlery & crockery. Only problem was the fold out bed. Made a call to the agent and a new trundle and mattress delivered in 2 hours. Great service.

Nice place but not for toddlers

Everething was nice, but location is not the best in Caloundra. It takes for a toddler 20_25 min to get to a play ground in one direction, the shopping center is at big traffic cross, the patrolled beach is only by a car. It was the end of our tree-weeks journey in Australia, and second stay at Caloundra within a week, and only at golden beach we faced mosquito problem. The insects were really annoying.
