Time out at the Gäberli's

Welcome!
Live right in the middle of the basin.
Long walks are possible. As well as you can strap on the cross-country skis away from the house. You can walk to the indoor pool in 5 minutes with admission included. As well as in the village where the restaurants are located. The free round buses to the ski area and hiking area go directly from the house. There are also wonderful tours by bike from the house.

Family-friendly Tyrolean house in a quiet, sunny location with a wonderful panoramic view.
Right on the moss with numerous walking and cycling trails. As well as the cross-country ski run from the house in winter.



Lovingly designed apartment about 70 m² with 2 separate bedrooms, kitchen with dishwasher, living room, and bathroom with shower.
Also equipped with WiFi.
Awarded with 4 edelweiss!

The FEWO`s in the main building have also been renovated and redesigned.

In summer our FEWO 2 with the adjoining balcony room can also be rented out to 2 people or 4 people, since the FEWO 2 alone does not have a balcony.

We are very centrally located. The address is Hauptstrasse but is quietly located towards Moos.

In winter you can put on cross-country skis from the house. As well as start beautiful walks in summer. We also have a swing and slide.
The bus stop is less than five minutes away from where you can be taken to the ski areas.
10 minutes by bus, which is even free in winter.


We offer ski packages in winter and the popular Z-Ticket in summer, which is now available for 3 days.
Also new !!
Free round-trip bus with electronic guest card even in summer.

A wonderful vacation spot!

My husband and I have traveled a great deal and we both remarked that Melitta is the warmest, most welcoming host we have ever experienced. The accommodations were perfect and extremely clean. Melitta had lots of small touches to make the apartment feel like home. We would not hesitate to return and the location is perfect.

Wunderbar/Wonderful

Fantastic location in the Alps near many activities. The apartment was one of the best we have stayed at in many travels and really enjoyed it. The apartment is very comfortable with modern amenities. Melita is very friendly and willing to help any time. Wish we could stay longer. Highly recommend to others.

First and foremost, the Owners of the Property were AMAZING!! I couldn't have asked for a better place, a better location, or better people! She knew our names, held our homes, gave us as much information as we needed and made our stay wonderful! We stayed 6 nights in the lower half of the house, two bedrooms, kitchen, living room and dining area! Everything we needed was provided, information about the local area, wifi to do our own research and we even had the UK BBC channel to keep up with the news! (Not that you needed it!) Our friends from Italy stayed in the second house that has about 4 apartments, they had a single room with bathroom, large space and a balcony that overlooked into an open green field with mountains in the back ground! Thank you for helping our great adventure in your wonderful space!

Incredible Views

We spent 3 nights in Haus Gaberli in the end of May. It was a good time to be in Ehrwald because it was right before the summer tourist season, so nothing was crowded (although I'm not sure a town as small as Ehrwald ever gets that busy). Haus Gaberli is very close to the grocery store, town, hiking trails and train station. Melitta had been very responsive prior to our trip and was wonderful during our stay. Our room was large, more like a mini apartment, with a kitchenette and dining table connecting to a second large bedroom with an enclosed bathroom. The bathroom is dated, and the shower small, but that's too be expected in these older properties. The room was spotless, very clean. The bed, like all beds in Austria, was two twin mattresses placed inside a double frame- yet these must have been larger mattresses because it was the largest bed we had during our Austrian vacation. Also as with most Tirolean homes, there was not air conditioning, yet, this building seems to keep cooler than others we stayed at. And the views- spectacular! The only thing missing from this room was a balcony to fully enjoy the incredible views of the mountains we could see from our windows. Well, Melitta resolved that for us by giving us access to the unoccupied, smaller, room next door, which had a balcony. We were able to breakfast out there in the mornings and enjoy the views from there in the evening. And that added touch by Melitta is why she's a great host. Melitta truly wants you to feel at home and she is successful in doing so. The language barrier wasn't an issue for us even though we don't speak German as we already knew what we wanted to do while in Ehrwald and Melitta's English was good enough to give us guidance on how to complete our itinerary. She even gave us a ride to the train station when we were leaving so we wouldn't have to drag our suitcases there (the train station is only a 10 minute walk, but we had a broken wheel on a suitcase). And finally, the extra perk of staying at Haus Gaberli is granny. Melitta lives in the house next to the rental property, but her mother in law lives in the apartment on the first floor of the rental property. Granny was so sweet, always greeting us and making us feel welcome. She even gave us a Schnapps toast after we returned from our hike! We had a fantastic stay at Haus Gaberli and wished we didn't have to leave. Highly recommend!

Wir kamen relativ spät abends an, wurden aber schon sehr freundlich erwartet und waren total begeistert, als wir die Wohnung betraten.Eine sehr großzügige, liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung, ausgestattet mit Allem, was man benötigt. Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in einer perfekten Wohnung.

Die Wohnung wird ihrer einladenden Beschreibung mehr als gerecht. Sie ist großzügig bemessen, alles ist vorhanden, sogar in der Küche ist alles griffbereit. Während unserer Woche war es draußen extrem heiß, aber das Haus blieb angenehm kühl. Es gibt keinen privaten Garten, aber man kann draußen sitzen, und wir haben auch fast jeden Tag draußen gegessen. Und nicht zu vergessen: Die Gastgeberin ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Sie antwortet sehr schnell auf alles, hat gute Tipps und ist nett, sich mit ihr zu unterhalten. Schließlich ist die Lage am Rande von Ehrwald ideal. Der Supermarkt ist in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und in 15 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichen Sie viele Berge, die zum Wandern einladen – es ist eine wunderschöne Gegend.

Es ist lange her, dass wir eine so fürsorgliche, warmherzige und mit guten Ratschlägen ausgestattete Gastgeberin gefunden haben. Melitta war immer da, wenn wir sie brauchten. Sie schlug vor, wohin man mit Kindern gehen, welche Wanderwege man wählen, wo man Zeit verbringen und wo man gut essen kann. Er ist ein Gastgeber mit Herz, der seine Gäste willkommen heißen und ihnen das Beste bieten möchte. Das spürt man schon beim ersten Händedruck :). Die Wohnung ist absolut sauber. Darin fehlt nichts. Aus Erfahrung haben wir gelernt, dass wir immer zusätzliche Handtücher, Toilettenpapier, Müllbeutel, Küchentücher und Spülmittel mitnehmen – auch hier waren wir sehr positiv überrascht. Es fehlte nichts, es war sogar zu viel, und wenn etwas fehlte, sagte man einfach Bescheid :). Die Wohnung liegt in der Nähe des Flusses Lojsach mit schöner Aussicht auf Lermoos, Daniel, Upsspitze, Schuhspitze, Sonnenspitze, Masiv Zugspitze. Alle oben genannten Wege können zu Fuß ohne Auto erreicht werden. Es gibt fantastische Radwege für Erwachsene und Kinder. Über diese wundervollen Aspekte könnte ich noch endlos reden... :) Wir empfehlen Ihren Aufenthalt bei Gäberli wärmstens und ich versichere Ihnen, dass Sie in jeder Hinsicht zufrieden sein werden. Morgens erhalten Sie auf Wunsch gegen eine Gebühr Brötchen an die Haustür geliefert :). Also Melitta, vielen Dank für die wundervolle Zeit mit dir und die noch bessere Gastfreundschaft :)

Tolle Ferienwohnung mit herrlichem Bergpanorama. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. In 5 min zu Fuß im Zentrum. Es gibt einen Skiraum mit Trockungsmöglichkeiten für die Skischuhe. Super nette Vermieterin. Sie gibt tolle Tipps zu Sightseeing Punkten etc. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Gemütliche und sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Melitta sehr genossen. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr großzügig geschnitten und gemütlich eingerichtet. Vom herzlichen Empfang über den Brötchenservice am Morgen bis hin zum sehr praktischen Schuhtrockner hat einfach alles gestimmt. Einzig die Kommunikation über die Agentur (FeWo-Direkt) war eine Katastrophe, weil man gezwungen wird, eine völlig dysfunktionale App zu verwenden. Das hat aber mit der Ferienwohnung nichts zu tun. Die war perfekt.

Die Wohnung war sehr herzlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Man hat sich von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Selbst die Solarkugeln vor der Eingangstür sahen schon sehr einladend aus. So viel Dekoration und das im Detail, einfach total schön ! Die Vermieterin super lieb, mega freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen wieder, das steht fest :-).
