The Space:

Perched atop a dune on a private beach with panoramic ocean views, our home offers the ideal location for a summer getaway. The bright and open design of this beach house, with large windows and sliders everywhere, provides water views from nearly every room. Our large wrap around deck is a great place to hang out and relax, while enjoying sweeping views of the bay - and the sunsets are AMAZING! You won’t have to travel far to enjoy the sand and sea, as you will have access to two deeded, private beaches, as well as easy access to South Sunken Meadow Beach. Inside our newly renovated home, you will find a large combined living/dining/kitchen area under vaulted ceilings, with top of the line appliances, islands, and comfortable couch and dining room seating. There are six bedrooms that can sleep a total of sixteen guests, as well as four full bathrooms on four livable floors. Central A/C throughout the house will provide comfort on even the hottest of summer days, and you will love the decor and fabolous artwork on display. Other amenities include WiFi, cable TV, washer/dryer, outdoor shower, gas grill, dog friendly, and sheets and bath towels provided for each guest. Combine the waterfront location with such an amazing house and you get nothing short of the perfect Cape Cod vacation rental!

A terrific week

Great location, property manager and house. Access to the beach was wonderful, and we enjoyed the house and views all week. A number of things could be updated and outside storage was lacking but all in all adults and children had an excellent week.

House is super short walk to the beach was perfect for our large group with kids from 2-12. The rental company was fantastic even with any questions. House was great for large group top door was perfect for a bunch of older kids to avoid parents 😁

Lovely Short Getaway

We loved staying for 2 nights as a bigger group! It was a clean and serene environment, very easy check-in and simple check-out. When the tide is in, the beach is beautiful! Probably would have preferred to be on the Atlantic side so we could swim more. But altogether this was a perfect getaway.

Incredible anniversary weekend

DelMar team was incredible in helping us set up a property to celebrate our 15 wedding anniversary with a group of friends. They helped us with a great location and a very suitable property for our group. They were super response and accommodating. House was great and plenty of space for a large gathering.

The nicest stay and hosts!

The home is beautiful and layed out with three separate bedroom areas that was great for our group of 8. The upstairs bedroom and downstairs bedrooms had their own bathrooms and same for the main floor bedroom area. PLUS and extra full bath off the kitchen! We enjoyed cooking breakfast every morning from the home in the beautiful kitchen and enjoying the VIEWS from the deck. We were wishing there was an easier route to the beach, you aren't suppose to walk along the dunes there. We found a public beach access if you go down the road a bit past the home. At high tide it is smaller but at low tide you can take a stroll for miles!!!

Needs Work.

This house has stunning views and is very conveniently located just steps from the beach but if you are thinking about paying a huge sum of money to stay here like I did last week, let me tell you that until the owner decides to spend some of that money that he collects from people like me, the house desperately needs a refresh. The range/stove is so old they had to put labels on the front of the stainless steel because the writing telling you which knob does what has vanished. The washer and dryer must be from the 90's and I spent the week filling ice trays because they had no ice maker. Also, there is just one TV in the house which is located in the basement for some odd reason rather than the main room with the views. The ceiling fan in the main bedroom was broken and missing 1 of the 4 paddles. And when we wanted to shower, we had to stagger who went in when because there was never enough hot water. These photos of the bedrooms have conveniently removed the shades and curtains which may or may not have been in my fraternity house 30 years ago. We had to shove a hanger in one shade to keep it down at night. And while I was excited about having Del Mar involved after reading the reviews above, they are not terribly helpful or knowledgeable. I immediately noticed upon arrival that the Wi-Fi speed wasn’t very good and soon discovered the reason was they had an enormous router which was clearly outdated. I had to wrestle with Del Mar to try and fix it because they insisted that everything was fine but when they finally replaced the router the Wi-Fi speed went up 1000%. Our first night we had two random fire alarms and I was told the alarms “Can be triggered by any sort of small things as they are extremely sensitive. It was likely humidity or spiders”. Super! They then came the next day and vacuumed the smoke detectors and when they left, they said the smoke detectors work but they aren’t connected to the fire department or ADT currently. Two days later I contacted Del Mar to ask for the status of the alarms and they casually said, “they’re fixed”. Good to know! One night I emailed the head of operations, and she responded the next day at 4:00. And when I got home, I received an email from the Del Mar founder encouraging me to email him directly with feedback on my stay. I did that night. 48 hours later the same people that I had issues with during my stay responded for him saying the founder was busy on weekends (this was Monday).

Hi Matt, Your feedback here is very valuable (thank you!) and yet has a dissonance from the service efforts we provided. We've never had a prior guest complain about the Viking Stove or Subzero Fridge (calling them dated is humorous - no?). The T.V. isn't in the room with floor to ceiling glass and endless ocean views for obvious reasons. The wifi tests resulted in 55mbs which is more than sufficient for streaming high-speed video / games / or trading options on multiple devices -- but I am also glad to hear that when we replaced the router (at your request) which made it even better. That is the type of service we are here to deliver. The same goes for the fire alarms - I'm glad we addressed those and they didn't cause any additional issues for you. While for a small group like yours (4 people?), this massive high-end vacation home directly on the beach might feel out of budget -- for larger families (groups of 10-14) it is an excellent EXCELLENT deal ($150/day/person at peak prices) and contributes to lasting family memories for many many years. I have asked our operations team to adjust the hot-water heater temperature, the window shades, the labels on the stove and the fan. Beautiful Place

The house was right on the water with gorgeous views. Plenty of space for the 8 of us with bedrooms to spare. Chef’s kitchen with high end appliances snd plenty of room for multiple people to move around while cooking. We stayed in for most meals. Would definitely go again.

A perfect property

Was looking for a quiet home with great views, room for a small group of girlfriends to each have our own space, and easy access to the beach and town. This home offered all of that plus more. It was perfect. Comfortable. Well-stocked with kitchen utensils. A TV with Netflix. Lovely sunsets. The rental management company promptly sent someone when we needed help swapping propane tanks for the grill (stuck knob), and they provided easy instructions over the phone when we needed help getting the basement shower to work (handle issue). Would definitely stay here again and bring family and friends and encourage anyone considering a Cape vacation to take full advantage of this property and its beautiful views.

Great location, convenient setup

The house was large enough to accommodate 6 adults and 6 kids. The kitchen and common area is well set up and has everything you’d need to cook for a large crew and enjoy the view of the beach. The property manager was super responsive whenever we had any needs. My only negative feedback would be that it would be helpful to note that one of the rooms in the lower level does NOT have AC and is very stuffy and humid. Also, there is limited wall insulation so whenever the kids wake up in the top level, everyone else is waking up as well. Aside from that, being on the beach is super convenient, the house has great views, and we never felt crowded. Fans are available in every room.

Memorial Day at sunken meadow

Place is awesome! Had a big group of friends and family in sunken meadow area for the long weekend. It rained, we hunkered down in this house for most the trip. Awesome location! Large open space for big families. Incredible views. Hope to be back soon.

Family Vacation 2020

The view at this house was absolutely amazing!! We enjoyed watching the sunsets every evening and the convenient walk down to the beach. Even though we did not initially have hot water, the property manager arranged to have a new hot water heater installed the same day. Great service!! We will definitely return!
