Horizons 315 needs an update
Having stayed at the Horizons resort at Jindabyne previously I was disappointed with the room this time. Beds were uncomfortable, light switches/power points needed repair, ripped sheer curtains, toilet cistern leaking water into bathroom floor and broken curtain rails. There was no second tv for the main bed area as listed. Overall this room was below the standard expected for this resort and needs refurbishment.

Thanks for the feedback, we may not be able to action everything you noted however we will pass everything along to be looked at by the owners. We would love to know where the second TV is advertised as we do our best to keep listings as transparent as possible.

Disappointed
The standard in apartmemt 315 was very average - the couch is filthy and about 10 years over its comfort rate - one plasma is damaged and the hygiene within the kitchen was unacceptable- cutlery (knives) had dried food on more than 3 pieces - Parking for the allocated spot was not available during the whole stay as other cars were parked there = BAD value for 2 nights @ $1100

Good location, uncomfortable mattresses
The location is perfect- close to everything, an beautiful view. But the mattress on the main bed, was hard, and the mattress on the sofa bed was TERRIBLE. You could feel the springs badly through it. We took it off the frame and put it on the floor for the second and third night, thinking it may be this. Not so, the springs poked into my daughters back, and she ended up with a sore back the whole stay. Only two drinking glasses, no champagne glasses. There was what looked like a cigarette burn on the tv screen in the alcove when turning on tv. All things that could be easily fixed, which would then make it fine. Felt at over $400 a night for a studio in not school holidays was quite expensive, but that was all that was left when I booked. would stay again, only if mattresses were replaced.

Overpriced, poor facilities, not clean
This was meant to be accommodation for 4 people. On arrival there was an over powering smell of disinfectant but it was clear the apartment had not been cleaned. It was as if the cleaner had just tipped a heap of disinfectant in the hall way to make it smell clean. The overpowering smell lingered for the 3 nights we were there. There was old urine stained on the underside of the toilet, mould on the tiles and shower curtain. We got 4 scangy towels and one bath mat. We did not get hand towels or face washers. The beds were old and uncomfortable, the sofa bed was not even made up we had to do that ourselves. The bedside tables were dusty and stained clearly they had not been cleaned in a while. There was only 2 glasses, instead of 4. The table for 4 had a leg that fell off constantly making it difficult to use. We were instructed to remove all rubbish and do the washing up before we left even though it was not that clean when we arrived. For $440 per night we should not have to clean anything on exit that should be part of what you are paying for. This was very over priced and not value for money. I would not stay here again unless they improved the facilities and the cleaning.

Hi Gus1, thank you for your review of Horizons 315. We are sorry to hear that you were not happy with your stay. If you had advised our office of the issues with the cleanliness in the property we would have sent the cleaners straight back to fix any issues. We will certainly pass on this feedback to them. Currently, there are no hand towels or face washers included in the linen packs but I will pass on this feedback to our linen service. We will be sure to replace any missing glasses in the property, if we had been advised they were missing during your stay we would have dropped some over to you. We will also have our handyman fix the table in the property, if we were advised of this issue he could have fixed it during your stay. Guests are provided with contact details for our office as well as an after hours number for any issues. We are here to help so please don't hesitate to contact us for any reason if we can make your stay more comfortable or enjoyable. JINDABYNE HOLIDAYS
