Our luxuriously appointed guest rooms offer a perfect starting point for all activities on the beautiful Lower Rhine They live quietly in a rural setting, close to the town of Xanten. Our guest rooms offer plenty of privacy. The ground floor has a terrace to the cottage garden under old chestnut trees. The first floor rooms in the house has a romantic log cabin atmosphere with 40 sqm terrace and beautiful panoramic views.

Proper place for short stay

In general a proper place for a short stay with a group of 6 adults. The accommodation is rated for 10 people however in our opinion 6 adults is the max. The whole set-up is straight forward; not a particular cosy place but functional and clean. We used it to explore the "Industry Kultur" from Ruhr area.

Nice house, with a few omissions

A pleasant spacious house, but lacked a good gathering space for all of us. No washing machine was a real problem. No freezer, either - and a bath would have been very welcome. It was odd having two kitchens. The surroundings were lovely.

Sehr schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage. Außenbereich ist nicht so groß, und das Wohnzimmer ist recht klein, wenn man mit vielen Leuten da ist. Wir hatten trotzdem einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt!

Wir haben nicht verstanden, warum Sie mit 10 Personen nicht unser großes Ferienhaus, in dem bis zu 18 Personen schlafen können, bebucht haben. Wir hatten Ihnen bereits im Vorhinein erklärt, dass bei 10 Personen im Blockhaus 2 Personen im Wohnzimmer schlafen müssen. Eigentlich ist der Garten mit 1000 qm groß. Sie suchten jedoch einen Platz um Fußball und Wurfspiele zu machen. Auch das wäre in unserem großen Ferienhaus mit 3000 qm Garten besser möglich.

Der Aufenthalt in Xanten war sehr schön, das Haus war total schön und die Lage einfach super. Wenn man es ruhig haben möchte, ist die Unterkunft der perfekte Platz in Xanten. Wir haben nur in beiden Küchen ein Eisfach im Kühlschrank vermisst, aber Eis essen kann man auch wunderbar in Xanten :-) vielen Dank und wir würden wiederkommen. Grüße aus NRW

Alles was prima in ordeWel heel jammer dat er niet een aparte WC is waardoor we moesten wachten bij bezette badkamers. De grote keuken was heel fijn met 7 personen We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad en leuke spelletjes gedaan

Het verbaast ons dat u ons huis hebt gehuurd, dat beschikt over twee volledig uitgeruste badkamers en twee toiletten, en dat u nu klaagt dat er niet genoeg toiletten zijn.

Das WE hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Einige Sachen haben wir zu bemängeln. Obere Badezimmer riecht sehr stark nach Abfluss. Wir haben gefroren, da die Heizung erst am Samstagabend richtig heiß wurde.Die Pfanne könnte entsorgt werden, da alles festgebacken ist. Beschichtung kaputt. Es fehlten uns Biergläser. Aus der Abzugshaube tropfte Wasser. War schlecht beim kochen. Das sind für uns aber keine Gründe nicht wiederzukommen. Haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und die Lage ist super. Wir hoffen, wir haben alles zu Ihrer Zufriedenheit verlassen. Kommen gerne wieder.Grüße von allen

schöne Lage, Quartier :Zimmer sehr schön, im Bad mehr Ablagemöglichkeiten wäre schön, Staubsauger oben in der Küche kein Anschluß, Küchenuhr ging nicht, ist nicht schlimm,Uhrzeit kann man ja überall nachschauen.Unten im Eingang tolles Foto von der Hängebrücke, leider standen die Putzutensilien,Staubsauger usw. nicht sehr attraktiv im Eingangsbereich. Aufenthalt war sehr schön.

Gelungenes Wochenende

Die Unterkunft in Xanten entsprach genau unseren Erwartungen. Für den Aufenthalt einer 8-köpfigen Gruppe mit drei Hunden war das Haus perfekt - der große Garten mit Grill und Bestuhlung hat uns ebenfalls sehr überzeugt.Zu beachten für Hundehalter ist, dass es einen Zaun zur Straße sowie eine hohe Hecke zur Abgrenzung der rechten Grundstücksseite gibt - allerdings geht die Abgrenzung nicht um das gesamte Grundstück. In unserem Falle war das jedoch nicht schlimm, da das Gras der umliegenden Wiese sehr hoch war und die Hunde somit gut „eingegrenzt“ wurden.Der Hofladen, welcher sich ganz in der Nähe befindet, ist perfekt ausgestattet & die Sehenswürdigkeiten Xantens sind (für nicht eingeschränkte Personen) auch sehr gut fußläufig erreichbar.Insgesamt eine tolle Unterkunft mit entspannten Check-in/out Verfahren und einem sehr netten und zuverlässigen Vermieter.

Viel Land drumherum

Sehr schönes Haus. Grundstück hat leider keinen Zaun und ist für einen Hund nicht "ausbruchssicher".Xanten ist in max 10 Autominuten erreichbar.

Schönes Ferienhaus im Grünen

Die Lage des Hauses ist wirklich traumhaft: Ruhig, abgelegen und „für sich“ und trotzdem ist man superschnell zentral in Xanten.Die Küchenausstattung war z.T. zwar leider nicht mehr 100%ig intakt und auch nicht auf dem neuesten Stand, aber das tat unserem Aufenthalt keinen Abbruch. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und bedanken uns für die schöne Unterkunft.

Es war ein sehr schönes verlängertes Wochenende zum 1. Advent! Ziemlich abgelegenes Haus, aber da wir noch fit sind, waren die 4,5 km nach Xanten zu Fuß kein Problem! Das gemütliche Wohnzimmer war für uns (8 Personen) top. Leider stank es im oberen Bad sehr aus dem Ausguss der Dusche. Da wir insgesamt sehr unkompliziert sind, haben wir den Aufendhalt sehr genossen und bei wunderschönem Wetter eine unvergessliche Zeit!

Wir sind mit insgesamt 10 Personen angereist (2 Familien mit jeweils 3 Kindern). Im Vorhinein wurden wir gefragt, welche Betten benötigt werden, diese wurden dann für uns frisch vorbereitet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist eine schöne, sehr ländliche Gegend, in der sich die Kinder toll austoben konnten. :-)

Fijn verblijf

Ons verblijf als gezin met volwassen en kleine kinderen op deze locatie was fijn. Er is alle ruimte om het huis met fijne tuin en privacy. De stad Xanten biedt voldoende aan interessants en ontspanning. Kortom, we hebben hier samen een aantal fijne dagen doorgebracht.

We are sorry that our TV Channel in Germany do not support NL football. Also we ordered the best Wi-Fi system for the region but we can not offer more than there exist. The living room has a side of 30 square meter.

Familien-Sommer-Urlaub

Wir [5 Erw. und 2 Kinder (2 + 4)] haben uns bewusst für dieses Haus entschieden, da wir die Lage durch einen Aufenthalt im Gutshaus bereits kannten. Xanten kennen wir schon seit vielen Jahren und das ruhig gelegene Haus war mit der Zimmeraufteilung für unsere Familien-Gruppe perfekt. Ausflugsmöglichkeiten gibt es reichlich, ob Wassersport oder Geschichte, alles ist erreichbar. Unser Urlaub war sehr schön, die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter klappte prima. Vielleicht noch ein Hinweis für Gäste, die auch mit so kleinen Kindern reisen: Steckdosendeckel mitbringen und wer Wäsche waschen muss, der sollte in der Jugendherberge nachfragen.
