About the host
Your host
Howdy travelers,
My name is Tonya Morris and I am a proud native Nashvillian who lives in the coolest community, East Nashville. Alongside my trusted friend, co-owner and East Nashville Mentor, Trey, we take existing homes and create beautiful and inviting dwellings.
Born and raised here, Trey and I remember Nashville "back in the day" when our claim to fame was the hit show, Hee Haw. Today, to our somewhat surprise, we have become the nationally noted "It city."
Over the last 35 years we have spent our time purchasing and leasing residential homes primarily offering long term 1+ year leases to both local residents and those new to Nashville. We love all of our tenants and we will also love you for the short time that you are with us. Just in case you want to make Nashville your home, we will also gladly keep you.

Why they chose this property
We are brand new to Homeaway but we have hosted a few of our homes off and on since 2015. We chose this particular home out of all of ours for a very special reason. For so many years this part of East Nashville was dull with no chance of attracting attention. There was no compelling reason for travelers to come to this area of East Nashville. Today, still mixed with other very basic homes that we will always appreciate, the attention to this part has arrived in a big, big way!
Just a year ago , The Good Nite cottage was so tired and worn. Lifeless and colorless, we painted her blue, gave her new windows, roof, HVAC, flooring, bath, kitchen and she "came to life."
The biggest reason why we chose her was the huge garage out back, not yet renovated but scheduled to become an outdoor entertainment space this summer. No other homes of ours had this great untapped amenity.
Although guests can grab a seat in the garage and hang out today, we can hardly contain our excitement for the coming project. All this means is, our guest, that's you, will just have to come back when we are through.

What makes this property unique
We love the coziness of this cottage. Although it is smaller and intimate, we just feel good when we are here. I am so particular about cleanliness and first impressions that I" drive myself crazy" going back and forth to move an item a fraction of an inch . Yes, I clean after every guest and I personally launder all the linens, bedding and towels myself. Although this is a lot of hard work, I know that it will be done right.
The best part of hosting is sharing our heritage and showing off our southern hospitality. With so many newcomers to Nashville, I pray that we never lose that spirt that we are so known for. Being a host is a huge responsibility and honor with every single guest. You bring your hard earned money to this town and deserve our very best!
Yea, folks have told Trey and I that hosting comes as natural to us as sweet tea and county music is to Nashville. That could well be true, but we will just let you be the judge of that. :)
