Family escape

The unit itself was fine and as advertised. The arrival and check-in experience was anything but fine. The instructions provided were conflicting--in the booking confirmation there was a note to check in at the real estate office which we went to, but it was closed. There was a lock box, but no instructions on what to do with the lock box. Conflicting was the fact that I received a text message on how the electronic locks worked but no further info on that. What resulted was a folly of emails back and forth (requests for Elliot to phone me were not indulged) and a return trip to the office. Additionally stressful was finding a lack of bedding and towels in the unit, even though it was confirmed this was part of the package. I was finally able to connect with a human via phone after enough stress to ruin that first day and locate the big bag of linens in the corner of the livingroom--NOT obvious. During this conversation the person I spoke with said that they were having IT issues hence the reason for us not being informed with procedures.
