We cannot wait to return next year! Our family has been coming down for 20 years and this property has been our absolute favorite. Very clean, spacious and the boat docking/covered area really made it convenient. 10/10
This home was very open and inviting. Large open deck right on Reel Foot Lake. Great restaurant just just down from the home. It was so nice to have a fish cleaning area. Good parking for boat and vehicle.
Even though it was cold and rainy outside this property it was warm, toasty, and beautiful on the inside. Being right on the water and seeing the ducks fly over with glorious sunsets and sunrises. The kitchen is a good size and it was nice having a washer and dry on site. The hit tube put the place over the top and I don’t think I’ve had a more relaxing weekend in years. We will be coming back in the summer!
This house exceeded our expectations. Everyone who entered commented on how nice it was. Great location right on the water with plenty of outdoor amenities and space. We will be back next time we come to Reelfoot.
Newly painted outside, newly landscaped, new furniture inside, very clean. The boathouse was a bonus! Perfect for our family & we hope to come back next year!!
My family of four enjoyed our stay. We visited Reelfoot State Park and Discovery Park of America which were nearby. We liked the view of the lake from the cabin and the hot tub. The cabin was well appointed with kitchen tools, bedding, soap, TP, smart TVs, wi-fi. There were several chairs that were broken or seemed unstable, and the master bedroom setup was kind of weird - there was only a curtain separating the bedroom from a sitting area, and you had to walk through the wet shower to access the bathroom from the bedroom. It was just our family so it wasn't a big deal but could be awkward if traveling with friends. Overall it was a very pleasant stay though.
I am going to be completely honest here. The location is okay. Fishing off the deck was unrewarding…no bites. Eateries were very limited in the area. Spider webs were everywhere on the deck and windows. Had to sweep them down. The windows could be much cleaner. The house needs a good deep cleaning. I don’t like dirty windows, or spiders and cobwebs. The house is musty smelling and you can tell it’s been flooded or something. Downstairs the wood flooring appears water damaged. The bed was comfortable enough. The lake was beautiful, especially in the evening. I did like the peacefulness sitting out on the deck. Neighbors were pretty quiet and friendly. The fish cleaning station came in handy. The boys booked a fishing guide and caught 71 in four hours. (If you’re going to fish you might want to get a guide.)Would I book it again? Maybe so.Nothing’s perfect.
Our second stay at this house and it didn’t disappoint. Spectacular views of the lake… perfect location… well-stocked kitchen… and comfy accommodations made for an ideal family weekend. We had a great time and will definitely be back!
