Villa Minnie's Castle in Calabay Parc at Tower Lake is a gated community. It's accessible from 3 airports (Orlando Int'l, Sanford, Tampa Bay). Our location is ideal for those who want to visit the Orlando area for Walt Disney World, Universal Studio, Sea World, and Legoland! Most of these great attractions are only 20-30 minutes away, it's also near Cape Canaveral and The Kennedy Space Center. It's ideal for those who also like to visit some of the great beaches in Florida to the East (Cocoa beach), West (Tampa/Clearwater) or North (Daytona) of the Orlando area. Also, it is near many great golf courses, only minutes away, some even designed by Greg Norman. Clean, safe and fun.

Great location, very clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. When we needed something tended to it was just a phone call away and everything was taken care of. Great neighbourhood and our family felt very safe.

Neat and Clean EXCEPT for the pool

Overall, the home was big, nice and clean. The only issue we had there was just the pool. Upon arrival, on a Sunday, the pool was green filled with what seemed like algae. We contacted them right away regarding the pool and they stated that they had someone out already and it is not actually as dirty as it seems but they'll send out another person to clean it but it should be ready by tomorrow afternoon. The next day came and it did not get any cleaner. We got back from Universal Studio hoping to get to swim but it was still green. We called back and they stated that they will send someone out again the next day. Finally I contacted Peter and sent him pictures as well of the pool and he said that someone will get there as soon as possible to fix the situation. Tuesday came and we did see a guy come to put some type of chemical into the pool and did a few scrubbing but he stated that he will take some results back to the lab to see what's going on but that after about 6-8 hours the pool should be clearing up and clean. We had someone stay at the home all day Wednesday to see if anyone came to fix the problem but no one ever showed up. Long story short, we never got the swim it the pool. The pool stayed green when we arrived and when we left. We were notified at the very end of the trip that it was due to them just putting in a new heater or something. We were there for 5 days. Never once did anyone contact me regarding the status update on what was wrong with the pool. I had to nag and ask them. They seem annoyed of me. I was quite disappointed.

Nous avons passé un beau séjour familial d'une durée de 12 jours dans la région d'Orlando. La maison est spacieuse, confortable, propre. Elle est située dans un beau secteur calme et sécurisé, près des épiceries et restaurants. Accès facile d'environ 30 minutes vers les parcs Disney. Nous avons également profité de la piscine qui était chauffée et très bien entretenue.

Home away from Home

Our stay at the Villa was very comfortable. The home was clean, tastefully decorated and spacious with many amenities. We were in Florida for our son's Spring Break Baseball. After being at the ball field all day, it was nice to come back to a comfortable home at the end of the day instead of a hotel room. My family had a wonderful stay.

A beautiful home, pictures didn't do it the justice it deserves! We didn't want to leave. We loved relaxing by the pool! Plenty of space for the 8 of us that stayed, great location to stores, gas stations, and Orlando. Would definately stay again!

Very plesant stay

We were there from Nov.6/14 to Nov.29/14 and we enjoyed are stay very much. The house was clean,very fonctional and in good condition and the heated pool was great. About 20 to 30 min. to Disneyland and SeaWorld and close to many stores and restaurants. The owner was very accessible at any time.I would recommend this home anytime.

Exceptional Property

I would have no hesitation in recommending this house to anyone. We stayed in this house for the months of February and March of this year and it is quite obvious the owner takes pride in and maintaining its appearance both inside and outside. The house was very nicely decorated and it had little touches throughout the house that you don’t normally see in a rental property. The description on the web site is very accurate and the property is well described. The house is located in a quiet gated community and is about 30 minutes from theme parks and restaurants in the Orlando area. There are also a number of restaurants in Winter Haven area which is quite close. We have rented a number of vacation homes over the years and this has been one of the best furnished and maintained houses and we would certainly have no hesitation about renting this one again.

Remarkable property!

Dear Peter - thank you so much for having us in your beautiful Florida home. This was excactly what we were looking for - a home for our vacation in Florida! The house was superbly situated in regards to amusement parks and the pool was a nice asset for our children to play and relax - as for us! If I have to mention one thing, it would be that the pictures do not do the house justice! The house is far better than the pictures describe! Thank you again, and hopefully we will be emailing you shortly with our travel plans for 2013!

Great place to Stay!

This house was absolutely amazing! It has all the amenities you could ask for and more; each room is decorated to perfection; makes you feel like you are at home! Very easy process to rent and the owners were great to deal with. The house looks exactly how you see it in the photos. The TV's in each room were a plus as were the private bathrooms in each of the master bedrooms. Let's two families stay comfortably. The pool was great and it was nice to have it all to ourselves. The children loved the rooms and the pool. Great for a family vacation. Close to everything, shopping, Downtown Disney and all the Disney theme parks. We will definately recommend this property to family and friends!

Money well spent!

WOW! The home was absolutely beautiful. The furniture was the first thing we noticed, not the cheap “cookie cutter” stuff you find in some rentals. This villa is very well decorated and seems to be reflecting the essence of the owners. My daughter really loved the girl’s room. The pool and spa were sparkling and we could not wait to get in, you could tell this home was well maintained. We have been there already twice this year, so I am not afraid to recommend this house to anyone of my friends.
