Thank you for your feedback. I'm truly sorry to hear about the cleanliness issues you experienced during your stay. This is far from the standard we aim to maintain, and I completely understand your frustration—especially knowing that the same issue occurred during your previous visit.
I've already addressed this with our cleaning team and scheduled a full deep clean of the property to ensure it’s thoroughly refreshed. Your comments are invaluable in helping us improve, and I appreciate you taking the time to share them.
It is a nice unit. There is a double garage however it is very low. I was not able to fit my car in there so I had to park it on the street which wasn't ideal. The unit is nice. The balcony with the views is lovely. The pool is great. Saturday night I didn't sleep much as the Shoal Bay Country Club is a night time venue so I could hear the music until 2am and then when it closed I could hear a lot of yelling and noise as everyone was leaving. I will stay here again but will make sure I bring some ear plugs and know that I won't have parking.

Thank you for staying with us and for sharing your feedback! We will make sure to share it with the appropriate team. We look forward to having you back soon!
To say that we were underwhelmed when we walked into the property would be an understatement. Don’t get me wrong, the views were amazing, the location was perfect and the pool received a workout from our family!
However, I must say that the apartment in general was pretty grotty. Having young children (a 2 and a 4 year old), who spend most of their time rolling on the ground, it was rather disturbing to find clumps of hair all over the carpet. On shelves in the built in robes, their were mounds of dust collecting in corners (we did want to place our clothes away as we were staying for a week). The bathroom and kitchen were clean.
We also had the issue of wanting to use the BBQ (again, with young children, it is much easier to have a BBQ in the evenings, rather than dining out). There was so much rust on the BBQ grate and plate, that it was unusable! A request was made by us to have the BBQ plate replaced. A maintenance man phoned us towards the end of the week (a nice fellow who tried to help), but we only had two nights left! Unfortunately too little too late!
The biggest problem we had though, unfortunately was dealing with the Port Stephens Accommodation Company! We arrived on Sunday and spoke to someone who was accommodating and understanding to a point, but said that we would have to speak to a manager the following day (they would ring us). In the end we had to phone them again on Monday. The lady we spoke to did ask us if we would like to apartment cleaned again (and we did say no, as we were all set up, things were out and honestly we cleaned it again ourselves) - but actually had the nerve to state that “we had to understand there is a quick turn-around between visitors” if it wasn’t cleaned to a high enough standard!!! WHAT???? Perhaps more time should be spent in finding and employing competent cleaners who can do the job they are employed to do!

We try to maintain the highest standards of service, but clearly that's not what happened here. We are terribly sorry to hear about your experience.
Your helpful comments are much appreciated, and your feedback will help us to continually improve the standard of facilities and services offered to all our guests. The unit definitely should have been clean to a high standard. Our sincere apologies.
