Wildwood Ranch is the perfect escape for families and friends looking for a nature-filled retreat with all the modern comforts of home. Spend your days swimming, fishing, hiking, playing basketball or pickleball, enjoying disc golf, or simply relaxing by the campfire—there’s truly something for everyone. With 160 acres to explore, you’re sure to make memories that last a lifetime.

The Home
This spacious home features 4 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms (plus a new half bath), and sleeps up to 12 guests.

Downstairs – 3 Bedrooms / 3 Bathrooms
Primary King Suite: Plush king bed and private ensuite bathroom with a large shower
Queen Suite: Queen bed with brand-new ensuite bathroom (NEW for 2026) with shower
Queen Bedroom: Queen bed with a full bathroom right next door featuring a tub/shower combo

Large bunk room: 1 queen bed + 4 twin beds
Foosball table and Smart TV
Spacious full bathroom with shower

All Downstairs:
NEW for 2026- A large media room was added and is sure to become a guest favorite! This space features a 95" Smart TV and plenty of seating for movie nights or watching the big game. Off the media room is a new half bath with convenient outdoor access to the pool.

Kitchen & Living Areas
The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals for your group, including pots and pans, cooking utensils, dishes, cups, and silverware. We also provide plenty of plastic plates and cups for the pool area.

Coffee setup includes a Keurig and regular drip coffee maker, along with tea and coffee basics (please bring your own K-cups).

The kitchen opens to the dining area and a large living room with ample seating for groups. A large Smart TV is visible from multiple seating areas, making it a great space to gather. Just off the living room is a cozy sitting room with beautiful views of the pond and a four-person table—perfect for morning coffee or an evening game of cards.

Outdoor Amenities
Wildwood Ranch offers endless ways to enjoy the outdoors. Relax in the beautiful in-ground pool, with plenty of furniture for lounging and spending the day outside. Gather under the pavilion for meals and games—featuring a large dining table that doubles as a regulation-size ping pong table. On chilly nights, enjoy s’mores and conversation around the campfire.

NEW for 2026- A brand-new sport court was added in 2026! Guests can enjoy:
Basketball (full half court)
Pickleball with rollaway net
Equipment provided (or bring your own)

Fishing & Trails
The property features two fishing ponds—bring your gear and try your luck catching bass, sunfish, and brim (catch and release only).
Walk, jog, or bike along miles of trails throughout the 160-acre ranch. You may see local wildlife including deer, turkey, hogs, armadillos, rabbits, birds, and more.

Wildwood Ranch is a peaceful, nature-filled retreat where you can relax, recharge, and enjoy time together.

Sorry, no ATVs, hunting, shooting or fireworks allowed on the property. Golf carts may be rented from nearby Doug's Corner to explore the property.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No hunting/ shooting allowed on the property. No ATV’s or UTV's. Golf Carts may be rented from Doug's Corner nearby.
Large parties, weddings or events are not allowed unless otherwise approved in advance.
Pool is shallow- no diving allowed. Please supervise children at all times near the pool and ponds. Life jackets are located in hall closet.

Amazing Stay - Even better in person

The property was an oasis of well maintained outdoor activity and beauty. Our family of 11 which included my elderly parents as well as teens and sisters family all enjoyed various aspects of the trip together. Accommodations are nice and open. They have thought of so many things travelers will need. The property has trails to ride, volleyball, swim and so much more! The onsite property managers were very helpful when needed and communication with the host was excellent. We go to a different place every year as a family and the conclusion on this place was we may repeat this one! Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! Beautiful outdoor grounds, trails, water features - even got to do some fishing. Kids and adults all enjoyed the fire pit/smores. Home away from home

We really enjoyed staying at this home away from home! It had activities for everyone. It was an absolute dream, from the pool to the fishing and fire pit. There was so much to do outside and a lot of land to explore. The house was very well stocked with amenities and other things to keep you entertained. Definitely a place we would come back to!

Still amazing!

Our stay was everything I thought it would be and more! This is the third time we have stayed at this property, but the first time with Jennie as our host and she was so responsive and just a perfect host. The property was clean and decorated beautifully. We loved swimming in the pool, making s'mores, fishing and the overall privacy of the property. I was sad to go, but looking forward to returning soon!

Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

We loved this property! We had a large group of ten in town for a family wedding at the nearby French Farmhouse. There was plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable and this has to be one of the best stocked houses we’ve ever stayed at! The host communicated with us very well and checked on us after check in. I wish it was a warmer time of year to enjoy all the amenities offered, and we were sad to leave. It was a beautiful little slice of heaven in the country that we will return to!

Cute fun house!

House was full of fun and a perfect little getaway. It was filled with chargers, towels, necessities, and all sorts of good stuff to accommodate (including a really yummy coffee cake). Me and the girls I had with me had a wonderful time here and especially enjoyed the games shelf. Also would love to point out the kindness and quick at responding property owner, just for being so helpful and adding to making this stay a great one!

Look no further!

Once you’ve stayed here, you don’t need to look any further. Our age group was one year old to 98 year-old and there was something for everyone to do. when we arrived here, we drove into the middle of the 160 acre ranch and we never left. The home is beautiful well decorated well laid out the kitchen has everything. The appliances are top-of-the-line outside is like an amusement park. I guess the best compliment I could give it is that I want to live there😁

Fantastic Father & Son weekend

Our group of fathers and teenage sons had a relaxing and entertaining weekend of fellowship here. We got to spend time fishing, hiking, swimming, biking, cooking and enjoying time together before the start of another year of high school. The house and grounds are exceptional with all the amenities and essentials. The owners and caretaker have been extremely accommodating and friendly. The wildlife was abundant as we saw deer, turkey, roadrunners, hummingbirds and hogs. We all look forward to returning next year and finding other time to bring our own families up for a visit. We did not want to leave.

What more could you ask for?

We stayed 4 nights over Labor Day weekend for my husband's 40th birthday and had an absolute blast! From the comfy beds, nice bed linens and the huge game room to the fully stocked kitchen- the inside is cozy, spacious and wonderfully-appointed. The outdoors, though, are the reason to come to Wildwood.... the walking trails, saltwater pool, pavilion, fishing, fire pit... we did it all and could not think of a thing that they didn't have! They also have outdoor dog runs, so we brought our two dogs who may have had even more fun than us :) The grounds are meticulously kept and there is plenty of room to explore and stretch your legs. If you are from the city this place is wonderful because you cannot see or hear a soul. The stars at night are amazing... you will not want to leave! We will definitely be back to Wildwood Ranch... thank you Susan and Cullum!!

Fantastic Stay at Wildwood Ranch

Our group of 12 had a wonderful time staying at the Wildwood Ranch. We had plenty of space both inside and out, and the property was a great space to get away from it all. The check-in was a breeze and the property managers were responsive with any issues that arose.

Our family began renting Wildwood Ranch in 2010 and visited every year since. We always dreamed about one day owning the ranch if the opportunity ever presented itself, so we were thrilled to get the chance to purchase Wildwood in 2019. We look forward to sharing our little happy place with you!

Why they chose this property

We love Wildwood because it is only an hour from Dallas, where we live with our 2 children and fur babies. It is close enough to get out of the city for the weekend and enjoy the wide open spaces at the ranch. We love hiking around the property, making s'mores at the fire pit, fishing at the pond and then cooling off in the pool!

What makes this property unique

Wildwood is heavily wooded; it has not been cleared like much of the surrounding properties in Grayson County. As part of the Eastern Cross Timbers, the land on which Wildwood sits was home to Native Americans over several thousand years. The trails were painstakingly cleared over the years and are regularly maintained to allow for hiking, biking and exploring the property.
