How Sweet The Sound is a beautifully remodeled beach retreat on Holden Beach, perfect for creating lasting family memories. This charming home features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, comfortably accommodating a family, a group of couples, or friends.

The sun-drenched, open-concept living room and kitchen features vaulted ceilings and ample space to gather together. A bonus sunroom provides an additional space for play, games, or relaxing. The back deck is ideal for enjoying the ocean breeze and stunning Holden Beach sunsets.

The Seahorse Bedroom offers a king bed, an ensuite bathroom with shower, and a built-in desk for remote work if needed. The Sailboat Bedroom features a queen bed and access to the shared bathroom with a shower/tub and plenty of counter space and storage. The Seashell Bedroom includes a pyramid bunk with a twin bed on top, a full bed on the bottom, and an extra twin trundle underneath, just steps from the shared bathroom.

This home is family-friendly, with a high chair, toys, and books, and Coastal Vacations can assist with a pack-and-play rental if needed. Located on the third row, the home offers partial ocean views from the living room, sunroom, and back deck, along with a peaceful setting that faces a private neighborhood's grassy knoll, providing expansive views and occasional sailboat sightings in the Intracoastal. Beach access is just a short walk, allowing you to be on the sand in less than five minutes.

Outdoor living spaces include a back deck and lower patio with a picnic table, charcoal grill, outdoor shower, and landscaped yard. The property also features a putting green and bocce ball court for added recreation.

We really enjoyed this house a lot. My husband and I traveled with 2 teenagers and it never felt too small with all of us in there. The bathrooms have been recently upgraded I believe and are like brand new! Just really in great condition and very pretty. The house is charming and the energy is great. It’s in a great spot—close enough for teens to ride to sunset slush but not overcrowded or noisy as it can get on the Main Street. Beach access is easy and close. Through one yard and across the street. Extras like the game table & outdoor putting hole/bocci court were fun too. The teens loved the bunkbed room! And our main suite was nice and spacious with good curtains so we could still sleep in when we wanted to! Great house. Would definitely visit again and recommend.

Holden Beach

House was clean and good layout, very open. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Enjoyed the outside area. A few things that would have deterred me from getting this house had I known about the ahead of time. 1) The very large house right behind this house has a pool. If it is rented you will hear 20 people out there even when you’re inside. 2) There are security cameras on every inch of this property. Front door, back porch, carport, backyard, sitting area (that has shower). If you are outside you are being watched.

Great Week!

The house is roomy and away from traffic noise from Ocean Blvd. We had to walk a little more to get to the beach but it was good exercise. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
