Perfectly positioned in a small hamlet surrounded by fields and tall trees, Chez Broche is ideally placed to enjoy visits to Bordeaux, Cognac, the Medieval City of Confolens and the Dordogne region, but far enough away to escape the crowds and enjoy the tranquil escape that south western France can offer. The farmhouse is ideal for families and has all the facilities modern families enjoy, including indoor and outdoor games, woods to explore, large terraces for dining and a swimming pool overlooking the lake. A real retreat to escape to with all the home comforts. In The local village of Montemboeuf you can find a boulangerie where you can take morning trips for bread and pastries, freshly baked each morning. Visit incredible Chateau, celebrate local culture at festivals, eat crepes in the beautiful Chateau town of LaRochefoucauld, the local Limosine steak, seafood, or even snails. Families will love visiting the many local activities including sailing, horseriding, the lakeside Adventure Park at lac Haute de Charante or simply enjoy the sunshine relax and watch the children fishing in the lake.

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine de vacances cet été, dans la magnifique maison de Linda et Stuart qui se sont montrés très sympathiques, accueillants et prévenants. La maison est très spacieuse, très propre, très agréable à vivre et nous y avons séjourné à 12 sans aucune difficulté. La propriété est belle, avec la jolie vue sur le bois et le lac. Enfin la piscine a été très appréciée par tous. C'est une location dont nous garderons un excellent souvenir et que nous recommandons vivement.
