The château was broken up into units in the 1980's. La Tour is the largest of these, set back from the main château it has a private terrace and extraordinary views of the gardens and surrounding area. Set over 4 floors the modern kitchen/dining room opens to the terrace on the lower level, there is an large living room with Juliet balcony and original 1600s stone fireplace. The bedrooms, bathrooms and guest cloakroom are on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The swimming pool is a wander away across the main lawn, it is heated! And is set in the former walled garden. It is open during the summer. Over the road is a small supermarket, in walking distance there is a bakers. In the surrounding area are plenty of restaurants and bars. A full listing is available at La Tour.

We loved our stay at La Tour. The tower itself is beautifully furnished and really well equipped, the grounds and views were stunning and we all made a lot of use of the tennis court and swimming pool. Our 10 year old said it was the best holiday ever and was really happy to make friends with the other children who were staying in the Chateau which made our holiday all the more relaxing. Everybody was really friendly and helpful and I also loved being able to walk to the boulangerie and the village shop every morning. Even though the weather was mixed we found plenty to do to keep everyone happy.
Stunning individual property in a beautiful small village. Very well equipped for self catering with great range of essentials and toys, books etc available. Private patio area and BBQ were well used. our children 10 and 8 had the run of the grounds, tennis court and table tennis table in the orchard. Large shared swimming pool enjoyed by all. There is a local bar just outside the chateau gates and a well stocked small shop and bakery in the village just a short walk away

Beautiful, inspiring, fantastic and very quiet.
This is a fairy tail place as is the house. Everything you could want is here. It is living in a castle. If you had to stay on the grounds for your entire vacation it would still be fantastic.
The town and the towns around here are very, very quiet, something to keep in mind. Restaurants nearby are very difficult to find.
Very nice contact with the owner, who was very helpful during our entire stay.
A big book with plenty of things to do and see around the place is in the house.
We loved it!

La Tour is a family purchase and we use up all of the spare weeks ourselves as we find it such an enchanting place for us to hang out.
Why they chose this property
Although it feels remote, amenities are actually very close by but it is a perfect spot to get off the world for a few days. The gardens are magical with original stonework (the French equivalent of listed) due to their intricate nature.
