Lizonne consists of kitchen with gas range, dishwasher and dining table, lounge with squishy sofas and tv, DVD player and free internet for chilling (stays cool due to thick stone walls. ), 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the first floor. One super-king(1m80) size double bedrooms one with its own en-suite shower room and 2 further bedrooms, one super-king size double (1m80), and one with a super-king size double 1m80 and single bed, share the family bathrooms with a bath.
Patio doors from the lounge lead out onto a lovely covered terrace, with outdoor sofa and barbecue for alfresco dining. The terrace has direct assess to your own private fenced garden and a gate at the bottom leads to the pool and playground.
The heated swimming pool is 12m by 6m pool ( open May to September), with a paddling pool and water play table. There are loads of games for kids of all ages, with a dressing-up box and several children's play areas with swings. Also there is a games room with pool table, air hockey, table tennis, baby foot, boules, Molkky, badminton, bikes, and basketball.
Our own private FISHING LAKE is a short walk from the property (no risk to children) Some large carp, bream, pike, and other species can be caught or why not let the kids fish for crayfish with the special nets. All equipment can be provided

Through summer ( July and August only), we organize a PIZZA party using restored bread oven. Fun for kids and adults alike. Everyone gets to make their own pizza and choose from 20+toppings with dessert and traditional wooden games for the kids. A lovely relaxed evening to remember.

We are situated in the beautiful rolling hills of the Perigord Vert National Park. Half an hour from the city of Angouleme and 45mins from Perigueux. The nearest village is La Rochebeaucourt 3 km and has a couple of nice bars, restaurants and a Boulangerie. Why not borrow a bike to collect the fresh croissants and stop at Dani's bar for the best espresso.
There is a lot to do in the area with beautiful towns to wander around, canoeing along the Dronne or Charente rivers, tree climbing, caves, chateaux, markets, wine tours, river beaches, and much more.
