Pool! Near Downtown&Parks- The Cozy Guest Cottage

Summary:
This classic one-bedroom guest cottage with a kitchenette is attached to our separately rented main home and can comfortably accommodate four guests. You will share the driveway, a large backyard, and the pool with the main house, but you will have full and private access to the cottage. This is the perfect spot for nurses or professionals traveling with their pets. We are minutes from Fort Moore, downtown, and restaurants. Short and long-term stays are welcome, and we would love to host you!

The Space:
Guests will enter the cottage through the side door using a digital keypad. The space has a bedroom with a queen bed, a living room with a pull-out couch, a kitchenette, a breakfast nook, and a full bathroom. Please note: This unit does not have a washer and dryer.
Guests have a private entrance and full and private access to the cottage but share the driveway/yard/pool with the main house. The pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day and is not heated.

NOTE: we have weekly maintenance and cleaning performed on our pool. The pool services do not take long and will not disrupt your stay. We will need access to the yard/pool area if you stay with us on service day. Thanks for understanding!

Guest Access:
The cottage is attached to, but completely separate from, the main house Originally built for the previous owners' mother, the cottage has it's own bedroom, living room, bathroom, and eat-in kitchen. The only thing it shares with the main house is the driveway and back yard.

The Neighborhood:
Located in midtown on a large corner lot with giant mature trees. You are less than 3 miles from St. Francis Hosptial and downtown Columbus. A stones throw away from everything else you might need including grocery and restaurants!

Getting Around:
We recommend driving but Uber and Lyft are available in the area as well.

Other Things to Note:
We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book.

If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.

Whether you are traveling to see your soldier at Fort Benning, attending a conference downtown, traveling for work, or just in town to visit friends and family, we are excited to have you! We think you will find this house inviting, accessible, and convenient to everything you want to do in Columbus!

We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

Interaction with Guests:
We will always have someone who can come and help if you need anything, but we also trust our guests, and want them to feel completely at home. So unless you need us, we will make sure you are able to enjoy privacy. Checkin is flexible as long as you are arriving after 3:00 p.m. So don't worry about getting held-up in traffic or landing on a late flight. All of that said, if you ever do need us, we are only a phone call away!
