Our stay at the cottage was great. The cottage was in excellent condition and had everything we needed. The weather cooperated too. Roxanne was always available if we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again.
The place was very nice! Little small but 2 people perfect! Was clean could use some closet space an another dresser. I would definitely stay there again! The owners were great if I needed anything just email them and they responded right away. Thank you
Location was great. The lots on each side of the property were empty and made for a more private stay with a nice little view of the lake. Dock was large enough for my fishing boat. Recliner in the house was broken and very uncomfortable but overall our stay was nice and I would come back.

Clean and cute small cottage
No where to put our clothes in the small bedroom.
Nice kitchen and living room
Furniture was uncomfortable in the living room
Stayed Father’s Day weekend and the weather was perfect. Especially on Father’s Day. Stayed at the beach all day that day. Took a day trip to Alpena on Saturday. Great getaway location. Neighbors were quiet. Water was clean. Unusual that the beach access was across the street, but not a deterrent. Water was shallow for a while. My kids (6 & 9) could go out quite a ways and still be flat footed in the water. Very quick responses from Roxanne. If I were to nit pick, not having a Keurig was a minus (even though there is a coffee pot, but we are only one cup of coffee a day people). We will be back.
Family of 5 (kids 13,10, 8) had a good time at the lake, We will come back to the lake, but will find a different property.
Misleading Descriptions / pictures. Cottage is across the road with separate empty lot on water. "Private" sandy beach is shared with the hosts.
Host was on property 4 of 8 days of the stay. ie pulling weeds, pruning bushes, mowing grass, playing on the beach, taking out garbage etc (some is understandable but the number of times felt invasive.)
Take plenty of pictures upon arrival to document condition of the facility.
Take inventory of all towels, linens etc to avoid being charged for missing items.
Bring cleaning supplies and a vacuum to thoroughly clean the place yourself.
The furniture smelled of pets.
Grill was barely functional, severely rusted.
Furniture and patio furniture didn't match pictures or expectations.
Neighbors were Great!
We enjoyed staying here this week. It was a very peaceful experience! It was a perfect little home for time away from the city! Loved the lake, beach and sunsets! And the fire pit at the beach! Thank you!
We had a wonderful two weeks at this little cottage and had such a great time on our pontoon. Having a place that close to the water where we could dock was such a blessing!
Cottage was very clean and bright. Lots of natural light from skylights and several windows. It had everything we needed for our vacation. I would recommend bringing groceries for your stay since it is in a more remote area. We had a great time. Our host was great and we had no issues. Easily the best cottage we have stayed at and the price of the property was a great value
Mom, daughter and granddaughter spent another perfect year at the lake. Cabin spotless, weather great and water perfect. Thank you for making our week together a memory we will not forget. See you next year...thinking maybe two weeks.

The cottage is very cute. My sisters and I had a wonderful time here. It was to windy to have a bonfire but the girls did swim one day. They were able to walk out quite a ways into the lake, because of the sand. It was very quiet area. We loved it and Roxanne was a GREAT host. Hope to use this cottage again.
We enjoyed our time together and this cottage made it all the more enjoyable. It had a nice view of the lake, the beach was very close. The neighborhood was very quiet. We liked it very much. It was small but more than enough room for four people. Thanks again
WOW... This is one of the most beautiful Lakes anywhere. The people are so friendly.. Everyone was helpful. Roxanne and her husband work like crazy but always had time to chat and point us in the right direction for our activities. This is a 5 Star review. We will be back. !
Cute little cottage, looking forward to another stay when in the area. Roxanne was a great host.
Perfect place for a small family that wants to enjoy some time close to the water. Wish the weather had been more accommodating to sit with a fire by the beach. Would recommend staying here, the area is quiet and serene.
