The house overall was really nice and updated. Equipped with everything for cooking and washing clothes for a family! Wished we didn’t get hit with a hurricane that shut swimming down the whole time we were there but the area has tons of hiking and biking which we enjoyed! Totally recommend but not during hurricane season. Lakes were also all closed due to algae blooms. Was a bummer for our children.
It is a lovely house in a wooded surrounding. Very good use of house space for sleeping accommodations. Main area very comfortable. Utilitarian kitchen and laundry area. Very nice deck in back.
Everything was perfect at this property. Worked very well for the whole family. The deck out back was a favorite hangout during our trip. Would for sure stay here again in the future.
Definitely request to speak with and book with Property Manager named Donna. She has great customer service skills and takes time to explain things to you so that your rental experience is easy and a wonderful experience. This house is just like you see in the pictures. It is located in a secluded part of the North part of the Hideouts. Total privacy. The owners of this house make this house so welcoming to guests. They provide notes with instructions on most things so whatever questions that may pass in your head is already answered in their notes. Definitely bring your own towels, sheets, pillows, and disposable items like plates, cups, utensils, garbage bags, etc…
I booked this place for my fiancé for his birthday just to relax and getaway from the kids and all the craziness that’s going on, we really enjoyed ourselves and was able to relax and unwind throughout the whole stay. The place was clean and equipped with everything that we needed I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.
Just what we needed, a long weekend, great weather, rest and relaxation!
This is a very nice property, very clean with just the right amenities. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck at the fire table in the cool mornings with coffee, and in the evenings with cocktails. The fireplace inside was also a nice feature. We would absolutely recommend this property to others.
My family and i were lucky enough to spend two relaxing weeks here. The house is exactly as described. We enjoyed the deck with the firepit, the grill and just sitting in the comfortable living room. Kitchen had just about anything you needed to prepare meals. WIFI worked well through out the house and on deck outside. We enjoyed the North Pool which was a quick car ride away it was much less crowded than the main pool. Rec center has fun things for all ages. The owners leave really helpful notes with tips for enjoying your stay. Check in and out process was easy and only took a few minutes. If we vacation in this area again we would not hesitate to stay here in Tom's house.
The house was comfortable and the setting was very relaxing. Just what we needed to get away from the city for a couple of weeks. The kitchen was pretty well equipped, but missing a few essentials. It was great to have a grill out back; and a deck that we could use to practice yoga every morning looking at the pretty trees; but there were a lot of mosquitos in the yard. Access to the beaches in the community was easy, and the beaches were not crowded at all.
We were looking for a quick getaway and a change of scenery. This house in Lake Ariel fit the bill. The house was in a nice quiet neighborhood and well appointed. Rear deck is a great place to spend time with the grill and fire pit. Great place to hang out, relax and recharge!
Such a cute , clean, well put together place. We give it 5 stars all around. The community is quite and quaint. The lakes are clean and they do limit guest access due to covid . The only thing that was wrong , my hubby was bringing items in the front door , and the whole door frame started falling. He called immediately and took a picture but no one came to fix the whole week. We just utilized the back door . Overall was a great experiance .
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It is a lovely and welcoming place, well kept up, and extremely relaxing. Very homey cozy feel, comfortable, and peaceful. Just what we needed. Well stocked with cooking and dining necessities (pots, pans, plates, etc.). Beautiful back deck with comfy furniture and nice lighting. Beds are comfortable, and everything is updated, and clean. We had such a nice time there, and would definitely stay at this property again. Charming, lovely, and relaxing.
We would like to rent this property again in future. And would recommend other people too

Beautiful Clean house, but somewhat complicated checkin process.
The house was beautiful, the community was great and safe, zero issues about the house itself, the only issue for us was the check in process because it’s not just a a simple key pick up and go to the property. You have to pick up the keys somewhere else from the property then head to the community where the house is located and register all of the cars you have,( we had 3, it was a pain) then the house itself was about 12 or so minutes away from the the entrance to the community, overall I believe this house is a steal for the price. It’s very spacious, clean and the owners leave notes to explain everything.
We had a great time, my only regret is not asking more questions at check in , at the hideout, there are a lot of rules to this community wish are all perfectly fine, but knowing them before hand will make your trip that much better
