Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Turn off lights, ac/heat and fireplace, if it's freezing out leave one of the wall units on 65 degrees. Trash goes in black bin; recycle in purple (top of driveway).
If traveling with pets, do a final walk-through of the yard to ensure you've picked up after them. There is a $50 charge for each pile we have to pick up.
If a key was requested, please be sure to leave it behind. A $75 fee will be charged to rekey the locks.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
$25 per pet, per night. Do not leave pets uncrated for extended time. Pick up after dog/shared yard (fee for not picking up poop).
Maximum stay: 28 nights. Please do not reserve for longer. If you require a longer stay, contact the host or make separate reservations.
• Quiet hours: 10pm - 8am. This is a residential neighborhood • Hot Tub Hours: 8am - 10pm • No parties.

We mainly booked and enjoyed our stay because it was quite, good hot tube, space for our dog to roam around, interesting things to looks at and cozy fireplace to enjoy. All in all we came back refreshed, host even offered longer stay but we had to get back and clean house after the power outages, otherwise we would have stayed longer :)

Everything you need in an amazing location

I am a sculptor, painter, and photographer. I write and pretend to be a good cook. I love to travel and try new things I've never done before.

Why they chose this property

This precious Victorian (main house) was built in 1880. It is a family home, bought in the 1970s. Potter Highlands was one of the original cities in old Denver back in the mid-1800s and was developed by Irish, Italian, and Scottish immigrants who moved here during the gold and silver rush. There's some amazing history in this very quaint neighborhood. It's a magical property, and it's located in a great city. There's so much to do in Denver and it's right at your fingertips from this central location.

What makes this property unique

As an artist, I have added artistic accents throughout the property, from the gated entry to the backyard oasis to the copper gutters with custom-made rain chains. I designed and built the additions, pergolas, custom millwork, fences, gates, etc. Everyone who comes here says they feel at home. I hope you will too.
