Winterwood Retreat is a tranquil Steamboat vacation rental location. This roomy 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom 1,604 sq. ft. townhome overlooks Burgess Creek and is ideally situated across the street from National Forest and the Creekside biking and hiking trail. The 3 level townhome has been remodeled with tile flooring, slate surround fireplace, quartz bathrooms and new carpeting throughout.

Enter on the middle level into a mudroom with a bench and storage for your gear. You are lead into the open, fully stocked kitchen featuring gorgeous granite counters, stainless steel appliances, refinished cabinets and counter seating (3 bar stools). Right off the kitchen is a spacious dining and living room offering ample, comfortable seating. Kick back on the brand new sofas (including a sleeper sofa) and watch the brand new big screen TV or warm up by the brand NEW gas fireplace. Open the living room sliding doors and walk out to the covered deck overlooking Burgess creek and enjoy a coffee, cocktail or a meal in the serene surroundings. There is also a covered deck for year-round use. The main level has a full bathroom, including a washer and dryer for your convenience.

The Master suite sits on the top floor with vaulted ceilings, an attached bonus bedroom and a beautifully updated full bathroom, making it a perfect family set up. It offers a comfy king bed and a twin bed and trundle bed in the adjoining bedroom.

The second bedroom features a queen bed and a bunk bed with two XL twin beds. It's on its own floor and right next to the in-home sauna!. There is a full bathroom on this level too.

Seclusion and privacy yet so close to the summer and winter recreation, along with the updated interiors makes Winterwood the perfect mountain retreat.

Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.
