South West Rocks is situated only a short drive off the Pacific Highway between Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. South West Rocks is a beautiful seaside holiday village that is home to the best beaches and scenic views on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.

The Crystal clear waters of Trial Bay or Horseshoe Bay, are ideal swimming for the family with small children. For the more experienced surfer visit Smoky Cape Beach, The Gap and Little Bay.

If you are feeling energetic you can hire catamarans, windsurfers, surf-skis, pushbikes, diving equipment, or hire a fishing charter to go deep sea fishing.

If you would like to just relax, you can lay on one of our beautiful beaches or you can fish the banks of the Macleay River or any of our pristine beaches, as South West Rocks is renowned as one of the best fishing spots on the east coast.

The historic Trial Bay Gaol,Smoky Cape lighthouse, and the walking trails through the Arakoon State Recreation park are just a few of the natural attractions on offer. Explore the Rocky headlands, unspoiled beaches or just sit back and enjoy spectacular scenery around you.

Our sub-tropical climate has mild winters and moderate summers, offering crystal clear waters in which to swim, making South West Rocks a beautiful holiday destination all year round.

Most of our accommodation is centrally located to the town centre, beaches, restaurants and facilities.

The unit wasn't as clean as we would have expected. The lounge obviously hadn't been vaccuumed as it still had crumbs etc on it when we walked in and the verandah hadn't been cleaned either there were marks on the glass railing and the floor was dirty.

This was a perfect spot for a getaway. Close to the beach, shopping and pub. Could be a little noisy on weekends/school holidays as van park is right in front.

A PERFECT SPOT RIGHT ON THE BEACH

We stayed here a week and were really comfortable in this modern well appointed 2 bedroom apartment, which has a huge deck equipped with lounge chairs and a table for dining, as well as a BBQ. Only trouble is that the neighbours either side wanted to party on their deck, so it got very noisy on a couple of nights..and boisterous kids were running up and down. It is a few minutes walk to everywhere - the beach, cafes, banks, grog shop, supermarket - so park your car and relax. It was clean when we arrived, with new doonas, but you need to supply your own linen. Highly recommended.

Perfect Holiday in Paradise

Spent a wonderful week in this fab little unit during the Christmas holidays. The huge verandah was a real bonus with plenty of lounges to recline on to take in the scenery including the beautiful sunsets. Lots of room in the open plan kitchen/living area to sit and relax and the fans kept us perfectly cool on the only night we didnt enjoy a sea breeze. Slept particularly well in the comfy beds, waking to the sounds of the ocean and views of paradise. What more could you ask for! My teenage daughter really appreciated the double bed in the second bedroom and her best friend happily took the top bunk. We got great use from the BBQ, kitchen and laundry facilities after our days at the beach, long walks, visits to the historic gaol and time spent enjoying the local coffee haunts, pub and nearby shops. Everything was SO much better than we expected when we booked in this little holiday village - it was our first visit but it certainly wont be our last!
