The beautiful kitchen is fully equipped, with all you’ll need for dining in. A barbecue on the back deck opens the menu to outdoor grilling, and there’s a dining table with umbrella for meals outside. A king suite on the second floor has its own balcony. Downstairs your guests can choose from four bedrooms, all with TV/DVD players: a king primary suite, a queen, a double twin and a bunk room with foosball table. Great communication with property manager and comfortable house. A lot of stairs which was a little harder for the older members of our group but for the young ones it was fine. Thank you for the great stay Meredith Lodging!

Great property. Wish we had planned more time to take advantage of all home and community amenities. Took in a concert and the raptor show at High Desert Museum. We missed out on biking, the water and club features, hot tub, ping pong and family BBQue! Our loss!
Days before trip, we were notified that the AC was out. Only one portable fan. Also no patio umbrellas despite what pics show. Over all nice place but due to know AC and one fan we had to do a lot to try and keep the house cool.

As far as the patio umbrellas, our homes are individually owned and furnishings and amenities can be changed at the discretion of the owner. We loved hosting you, and hope you will return!
We are from Bend. We had family visiting from Illinois, so we planned a visit to Sunriver so all of the cousins could enjoy biking on the trails, the SHARC, and the uncles could enjoy golf. We had a great stay. The house was big enough for 12 people. It was located close to the biking/walking trail. It was an easy 3 mile bike ride to Benham Falls and the trail network. It was a great location to drive up to Mt.Bachelor to zipline and access the MTB park. We were lucky that the weather was great and smoke free since the air conditioning was not working at the house during our stay. There were plenty of fans provided by Meredith Lodging and we were able to keep the windows open at night to cool down the house.

House was perfect for two families to share! Good size and nice bedrooms. The house needs a good deep clean though, inside and out. We had to text the property manager about the hot tub because when we arrived the water was disgusting looking and smelled awful. They were very responsive and did send someone out the next morning, which was nice. However, the water didn't seem much cleaner. It needs to be completely emptied and refilled. Inside was clean looking, but everywhere was very dusty, needed a good vacuum and the kitchen felt like there was a layer of grease everywhere.

Disappointing
Beautiful deck and location, but since the AC was broke in almost 100 degree heat, it was miserable inside. The disappointing thing was that they DID nothing to compensate for this, even tho we literally had to split up and some found other accommodations because of this.

Total Rip-Off - House is Terrible and Full of Rats
Online, the house looks large, clean, bright and comes with lots of amenities like bikes, a hot tub, ping pong table, BBQ, etc. Because I was bringing a large group, online, the house looked perfect. The house is far from what it claims. The entire home was filthy. I don't mean they missed some things when they last cleaned. It was awful - dust everywhere, hair in the beds, dead bugs in the showers, carpets were filthy and smelled terrible. The BBQ was rusted out and when I tried to use it the grate fell through. None of the bikes worked - flat tires, broken gears, bad chains, etc. We didn't have access to the hot tub for 3 days because the key was lost and they didn't bring us a new one for several days. When we did get in the hot tub it was dirty and smelled terrible. The ping pong paddles were all old and not usable. And on the last day when checking out we discovered rat traps underneath many of the beds and one of them had a dead rat in it.

We verified correspondence from you regarding a bike pump, the SHARC passes, the hot tub key, the BBQ, and some cleanliness concerns. Our team sent over a bike pump, relayed where the hot tub key & passes could be found, and offered to send housekeeping over - which was denied by you. Had we been notified of issues with the hot tub or a dead rodent being found, we would have promptly sent our team over to offer prompt assistance. The home is a popular rental and is also visited and stayed in frequently by the owner and no reports of mice or rats have been reported, nor filthy/smelly carpets. Our housekeeping lead informed us that the home was left in disarray and took 5 cleaners and 7 hours to get the home rental-ready after your departure. We have requested the BBQ and ping pong paddles to be replaced and the bikes to be serviced. Thank you - ML team.
This property had a lot of potential. It had great rooms and a layout great for a large group like us! The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and enjoyable! The large deck was the star of the property... however, the upper and lower decks and furniture were quite filthy like they didn't get a lot of attention during cleaning. However, the biggest issue we had during our stay was the refrigerator stopped working. Management was reasonably prompt in taking a look, but sent a guy who admitted to having no idea about refrigerators and was literally googling how to fix it. We were then told it was working fine and it should be fixed... it wasn't, called management again and the same guy came back and told us it would take 24 hours to work again... which was not true, so didn't work the next day..... long story short we lost hundreds of dollars of food, spent money on getting coolers and ice to try to preserve some things and we got no sympathy from management and NO type of refunding! For the amount that we paid for the property it honesty put a huge downfall on our family trip. I understand things happen, but just the way management dealt with it, and offered no type of refund compensation for our hassle was VERY disappointing... we will do our best to avoid this management company again...

HORRIBLE - No working BBQ or Washing Machine HORRIBLE
10 minutes before checking in I was sent this email:
"Our team was just now notified that the BBQ will not be available for your reservation. While we are working very hard to quickly resolve this issue, we wanted to make you aware that this item will be unavailable for your stay. We sincerely apologize and appreciate your understanding as we do our best to get this resolved as fast as possible for you"
The BBQ was completely rusted out and no way it could be used. It's not something that just happened and they waited until 10 minutes before checking in to let me know. BBQ's are everywhere, it should have been replaced immediately, we were there for 3 days and no mention of getting a new one in. We planned BBQ'ing all lunches and dinners.
The washing machine also did not work and I let them know but nothing was done.
Meredith Property Rental is representing the owners and this is the response I got:
"I want to extend my sincerest apologies for the inconveniences you encountered with the out of order BBQ during your stay and the washing machine. It’s clear that the issues significantly impacted your experience, and I understand how frustrating this must have been.
While our rental agreement typically does not include compensation for out-of-order amenities, we strive to ensure our guests have a pleasant experience. Given the circumstances, we are making an exception and will provide you with a future stay credit of $100. The details of this credit will be sent to you"

Nice home overall, but needs some TLC. Good: clean, very large and takes dogs. Quite neighborhood. Cons: The photos on VRBO are clearly from years ago . Paint peeling on outside of house and deck really worn. The hot tub is on a dark back porch - very little light . Patio furniture old and run down. The wifi hardly worked up stairs and did not work downstairs so most the TV could not be used . The garage was very dirty and messy and had tons of wood debri on the floor so playing in it was not really appealing. Kitchen was fine but not really well stocked as other houses . Overall it is a good house if you have large family and dogs . Just need to fix photos to reflect reality so it does not feel like a let down .
The layout of the house was particularly good for what we were looking for - in particular, the flow from kitchen to dining to living room makes it very natural for everyone to interact. There is a lot to do in the immediate vicinity and lots to visit nearby.
This was a lovely spot. Home spacious with good update appliances & well supplied kitchen, comfortable couches and beds. We appreciated the board games, bikes, ping pong and futzball available to us. The downstairs Queen bedroom (without private bath) was always colder than rest of house and each night there was a dripping or tapping sound. Not great for sleeping. Perhaps something related to heating? Overall a good setting for our family.
Couldn’t have asked for a better spot! The drive to Bachelor was short and the house had everything you need- Sunny deck to read, grill, jacuzzi, bike and relax. We did run out of cleaning supplies and the dryer seemed to need two rounds for towels but no real complaints here.
The house was clean, well appointed and pleasant. It was perfect for our group of adults and children and I appreciate that it is pet friendly. The ping pong and foosball tables were an added plus.
I would have appreciated more/more timely communication about the stay as i called them twice to confirm the reservation and details. The door code did not work when we first got there, but the situation was alleviated in a very timely manner.
Excellent set up for large family event. Location and setting wonderful. We were able to walk to the back yard and let the kids go sledding. Dinning room table awesome for family dinners and games. We will come again.
The house was spacious, clean and well appointed. The fire place kept it nice and cozy, and the hot tub was private and well maintained. The ktichen was very well appointed - much more complete than other houes I have stayed in. The house backs up onto a golf course which we used to walk our dog and go sledding on. It is well located, just a 5 minute drive from the SunRiver plaza, and 30 minutes from Mt. Bachelor. No complaints!
Everything was mostly fine and advertised, although I was surprised that for a house sleeping 12, there were only 6 hot tub towels. Also, all of the other vrbo’s I’ve booked had more supplies in their kitchens. There was no foil or plastic wrap. Otherwise a food place.
