Gettysburg Visit

This property is the nicest one I've ever stayed at! It's a beautiful home with a spectacular view! It was sparkling clean, comfortable, peaceful, close to Gettysburg. We originally booked it for two nights and were able to add another day to relax after 2 1/2 weeks on an intensive driving tour with our grandson! It was lovely to sit on the porch and watch the rain come over the mountains or to sip coffee first thing in the morning! We even saw deer!Communication was great! We never heard or saw the person who lives downstairs. It was nice to have access to a garage for our car as it did rain during our stay. The price was very reasonable for a property like this! I would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

Gettysburg Trip

We had an amazing stay in this house. As previous reviews have stated you can head the property manager pretty clearly who lives below but they adhere to the same quiet hours they request of the guest. The house is beautiful and had everything we would need. About a quick 15 drive into town and loved the beautiful scenery and animals at the house.

Beautiful home with awesome views

Lovely, spacious home with beautiful views. Close to Gettysburg, nice restaurants and wineries. The home could use TV’s in the bedrooms.I don’t recall the listing stating the property manager lives on site but this was a non issue as entrance and living space are separate. Definitely recommend this lovely home!

Beautiful Home and Stay

Home was the perfect layout and will treat you to fantastic views. We were there to visit the battlefields and it was very nice to be able to come to this gem a few minutes outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown Gettysburg.

A gem in the hills and dales

Absolutely stunning views! Wonderful fall weather so we enjoyed the expansive porch. Huge place with lots of luxury amenities. All appliances worked well and showers were great! Beds were comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay. Would love to come back Again someday.

Gettysburg visit

Visit was amazing...first time to Pennsylvania. What a beautiful piece of property, had fun watching the deer in the morning, opening the windows to fresh air. Very peaceful and a moving experience at the battlefield. We loved it.

Gettysburg Soccer Tourney Trip

We found the relaxation and solace we were looking for at this property during our time in Gettysburg for a soccer tournament. Peaceful with elbow room to spare, this was exactly what our family needed for rest in between games - we look forward to returning next year!

GREAT home and location!

We stayed at the home for 4 nights and really enjoyed our time there. It was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. It's also very close to Gettysburg and all of the historical sites and attractions. Great views from all around the home, highly recommend!

That view!!

The home is on a hill with a spectacular view! So peaceful and lovely!! Coffee in the mornings sitting on the rockers listening to over 20 varieties of birds chirping was just wonderful, and saw deer! Very spacious as well! Highly recommend it!

10 to 15 minute drive to downtown Gettysburg. I would put this into my Top 5 cleanest rental. Plenty of room to spread out. More interior lights that I have ever seen. It was nice to sit out on the porch early evening. TV's in the bedroom would be a nice addition. If we are in the area again we would stay here.

Gettysburg Getaway

We were lucky to be able to bring our grandsons to this wonderful home to enjoy Gettysburg with them. Gettysburg and the house lived up to their billing. We had a great long weekend. We have rented many VRBO homes over the years and this, by far, the nicest and it came exactly as advertised, which sometimes doesn’t happen. Nice job!!

Views Galore

Our stay was pleasant. The place was roomy and all amenities needed. The views were wonderful. Our only gripe is that the owners live downstairs and you can hear talking, movies/music etc so wouldnt recommend if you are seeking complete privacy. A lady that was looking for a women called Jane actually walked right in to our rented home. We thought that was a bit forward and shocked that she thought it was okay to just walk in without even a knock. But thats not the owners fault, just poor behavior on her part, and we should have locked the door. Other than hearing everything downstairs, the place is roomy and beautiful views.
