Observation Point: Prime Soundfront Location with Dock! Spectacular Sunsets!

Located in the popular Brigand's Bay neighborhood in Frisco Village on Hatteras Island, this 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage features a huge soundfront deck with beautiful panoramic views of the Pamlico Sound and unbelievable sunsets. Part of the deck is covered to allow you to enjoy the gorgeous views while keeping cool in the shade.

The 30' long dock is suitable for a shallow draft boat. The water next to the bulkhead is approximately 2' deep with a sandy bottom. Perfect for swimming, fishing, or launching your kayak or paddle board.

Inside, the home features a very open floorplan, allowing the sparkling water views to be seen from all the living spaces. The spacious and well appointed kitchen is stocked with new pots, pans, utensils, dishes, etc.

The two bedrooms each have their own adjoining private bathroom. The first bedroom has a king bed and water views with a private door to the sound front deck. The second has a queen and twin bunks. Each have comfortable new mattresses and pillows. A large laundry room is available for your use as well.

Downstairs, the convenient outdoor shower is perfect to rinse away the sand and allows you to enjoy stunning water views even while taking shower!

Beach access, Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum, shops, and restaurants are all just minutes away.

Always fabulous

We've had the pleasure of staying at Observation Point for many years...and every year seems better than the last. The location on the sound is pure magic. Coffee in the morning, watching the birds is so peaceful...& The sunset are beyond description. The neighborhood is perfect for bike rides...and is conveniently located to stores and restaurants, and of course the beach. Observation Point is nourishment for our minds, bodies, and spirits.

Beautiful Home With A Beautiful View

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Great location for the southern Outer Banks, and close proximity to the other other villages. Quiet neighborhood. The house was everything and more than expected. Great porch with an awesome view. Nice dock for launching kayaks. Owners were very good communicators. Highly recommend!!!

Perfect home for us

We LOVED our 2 week stay at Observation Point.❤️ The house and location has everything we want when we visit our favorite island. The kitchen is very well stocked with anything you'll need. The bed is very comfortable along with the other furnishings throughout the home. Loved the shower too! Sunsets are AMAZING and the fishing off the dock was productive too! The owners were very gracious and a pleasure to work with. Enjoyed talking to the neighbors we met and cannot wait until we are able to get back to Observation Point. Thank you, Miranda and Tom, for sharing your "perfect home for us" home!

Great week at OBX!!!

Arrived in Outer Banks on Friday and spent the night in Kitty Hawk- headed south toward Hatteras on Saturday morning, taking in the beautiful sights....Easy entry into the cottage and we were immediately impressed with the accommodations and the incredible views. Weather was very windy on Saturday, but improved throughout the week. Enjoyed the chairs on the deck on the sunny days, as well as in the late calm evenings. WI-FI worked perfectly- no issues. We went to most of the restaurants and bars in Buxton, Avon, and Hatteras...and a few in Nags Head. Got some tasty shrimp at Buxton Seafood and boiled them at the cottage. They were great! Went to Ocracoke one day - fun excursion. Visited the Hatteras lighthouse- didn't climb up it to the top, though. Very worth the visit.....................+++.About the deck.{One thing the owners may want to take a look at is the nails used on the deck are rusted and the heads are breaking off, leaving the possibility of puncture wounds to bare feet- stainless steel nails may solve that... Just be careful walking on the deck with bare feet.} Bed was very comfortable and the bathrooms were roomy and the water pressure in showers was good- the sinks, not so much. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this property! The name "Observatioin Point" is spot on!

The house is beautiful with breathtaking views and great proximity to the water. The dock and garage were just what we needed to fish and for my little one to play in the sand in the shade. Communicating with the owners was a pleasure. We’d love to come again!

Staying right on the sound is really a great option. The house was out of the busier tourist areas with shopping and restaurants close enough.We spent a lot of time fishing and crabbing in the backyard. Which are relaxing, fun, and productive. Each bedroom having it's own bathroom is really convenient when coming back from the beach or puting where you want to shower right away.The kitchen layout and size made it easy to use and had everything we needed.We would look at coming back again.

We were immediately enamored with Observation Point in Frisco, NC. The view could not be more captivating and peaceful. The location on Pamlico Sound was convenient to neighboring Buxton and Hatteras (including the ferry that you can take from Hatteras to Ocracoke). We found the furnishings were very comfortable and the amenities met our needs. We highly recommend this location/property for anyone desiring to get away from the hustle and bustle of Nags Head/Kill Devil Hills area. The perfect end to our day was courtesy of the amazing sunset views on the back porch followed by fantastic stargazing. The cell service/internet also enabled us to stay connected to family and work. The hosts went above and beyond, proactively reaching out to ensure that our needs were met and they were also extremely quick to respond to our inquiries. Should we return to the OBX we would definitely stay at this location all over again!!!

Well loved, clean home with spectacular views!

Our family of four (kids 3 and 7) had a great time here this past August! This is a small but beautiful home that you can tell is well loved. It is the perfect size for our family, and the house is so nicely put together. The home was extremely clean (cleaning lady is wonderful and does a fantastic job!) Kitchen is small but functional, and really well stocked. The views the house offers are spectacular! Sunsets are gorgeous on the deck, a great spot for morning coffee or a family meal. We didn’t fish this time, but if you are into fishing this would be a great spot. Hammock underneath saw some action too, great spot to chill and the kids liked the novelty of hanging in it and purposefully falling into the sand. Our Ioniq 5 fit underneath in the parking area, the only thing that would make this house perfect (for us) would be if they installed a level 2 charger. The location is perfect in a nice quiet neighborhood, with friendly neighbors. It’s very close to the Hatteras ferry that takes you to Okracoke, and also to Connor’s, our fav grocery store. Lots of cute coffee shops and restaurants with really great food are also in the vicinity. The main draw for us is that this isn’t run by any management company (some on the island are really terrible) and the owners Miranda and Tom are lovely and super responsive. We already booked a week here next summer and would highly recommend. Thank you, Miranda and Tom, for sharing your slice of paradise with us!

No more ocean side for us

We loved this house on the sound side at Frisco with a dock. We were able to take our boat on this trip and fish the sound. We had a great neighbor. When it came to purchasing our dream home, we knew Hatteras Island was the place for us! We had looked at several homes in the area, but kept coming back to the Brigand's Bay community. We loved the fantastic water access, stunning views, and boating and fishing culture here. When we pulled up to this home and saw the view, we were blown away. As we entered the door, we both knew that this was our special place. We're excited to share this home with visitors who are seeking a quiet getaway, and truly hope it will feel like home to you as well.
