Stunning location

This is the second time we have stayed and can’t wait to come back. The proximity to the beach, the access, the picnic table views, it really is just so convenient. The house itself has everything you need to stay in and entertain, will be back for sure

What you see is what you get - lovely!

Great location - on the beach between the mouth of the river at one end and the pub at the other end and 100m from the club. Very clean, well maintained with modern appliances. We were 3 doing the Yuraygir National Park walk - perfect place.

Overall a nice house. However beach is not a swimming beach.There is no outdoor shower, however an outside shower is advertising. Garden is not useable as it covered in large nuts and crab holes.BBQ rusted almost solid.Outside table not useable as very old and rickety.Fridge leaks.Double bed mattress is very old and needs to be thrown out. It is probably a health hazard.

Great stretch of beach out front and a top spot for checking the surf or having a drink from the elevated dune park bench area. Beds are suburb, great nights sleep here. Great bathroom, good size flat back yard for the kids. Living room a little small for a crowd and the pull out sofa couch isn't super comfortable but that would be about the only thing to niggle about regarding this wonderful property. As usual the staff at Awhimaway were efficient and friendly.

Perfect beach getaway

Beautifully presented house in a lovely little sleepy beach town. The garden backs right onto the beach! Great for the kids with the playground, skatepark and river right outside the door. House was well equipped but missing a few little/personal touches (eg lightbulbs in the bedside lamps not all working, no salt/pepper/coffee, Telstra TV but no wifi etc) but they didn’t take away from the stay. We’d book again!

Beautiful property

This property was great to stay at, immaculate in terms of cleanliness, amenities, location etc. The Telstra tv that was advertised doesn’t work at all though and there is t any WIFI available. Could be cool to have a little host book of local info as a nice touch, I totally understand why linen isn’t included due to COVID etc but really for the prices charged it’s an expectation now along with WIFI and a working tv. Not deal breakers, just something that requires consideration.

The break we desperately needed

Wow what a fantastic holiday. The house was in a fantastic location and was so lovely. The table up on the sand dune had a lovely outlook. The appliances and kitchenware were very nice. We had a lovely family holiday in a town where everyone was so nice and friendly. The fishing was great and the rockpools at the end were great for little kids. We had one issue with the oven that was very quickly fixed when reported. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone, Thank you Sea Legs !!!

Absolutely beautiful

This house is exactly what we needed. It's probably easier to tell you the few downsides than all the up sides. Down side was the back yard was either very long grass or complete dirt (instead of the lush maintained lawn in the photos) and the DVD player barely worked (which is fine except for those rainy days with kids). But seriously, apart from these MINOR things this place is amazing and we will definitely be back!

Fabulous beach house

Beautifully renovated very comfortable and great position walk out the back gate onto the beach suits two couples or a small family.Beach is a bit rough to swim especially for kids only suitable for a small boat parking . Very restful holiday and even caught some good fish

has been refurbished beautifully. very comfortable, fans help even though there is no airconditioning You certainly do not judge the house by the outside It is great to be able to go a short distance from back yard taking your breakfast see the sun come up over the ocean
