*Our guest house is somewhat attached to our main property. (There is an exterior entryway with a single roof but no shared walls to actual living spaces as the interior wall is storage).
6/5/2025 UPDATE Due to recent storms the damn has broken and is under repair. This leaves our water levels at either none or very high depending on when the upper damn gates are open. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope this is corrected soon. You can, of course, take our kayaks to other open waters for personal use.

No need to strip the beds - housekeeping will address that. There is a hamper in the closet to store your towels, or you can place them in the shower!

Super cute and close to anything in Medicine Park that you would want to do. The hosts were extremely hospitable. They had fresh eggs from their hens on the counter for us to have for breakfast and a lovely bottle of wine to enjoy in the evening. If you are looking for a weekend getaway with your special someone, this is the place to stay.

Beautiful escape

My husband and I had a wonderful time. We took our two dogs and did some exploring in the area enjoying the wonderful views. It was a great way to escape the stress of the real world for a few days.

Great guest house

Extremely nice, beautifully decorated, very relaxing. Good access to hiking trail once I found it😌. Plenty of supplies to cook with and a nice bonus of snacks/drinks. Definitely a place we will return to.

A quiet retreat

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect perfect location! It was clean and packed with the essentia amenities including a fridge full of drinks and a basket of goodies. We got to meet the owners who were very kind and we even got to meet Mr. Kevin bacon the pig, he is absolutely adorable and friendly. We will definitely be back!.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Harper’s Landing. The Holt’s are amazing hosts and had everything we needed for our stay. Great location, just a few minutes from the Wichita wildlife preserve and a short drive to the charming town. We took a fun hike to the Latonka dam, the trail was just a maybe 600 ft from our door. If you are planning a visit to Medicine Park/Wichita Wildlife Preserve, you won’t go wrong booking your stay here. Thanks for everything!

Great Location for Wichita Mountains Park!

Perfect location for the purpose of the trip- to explore Wichita Mountains Park. The host made us feel very welcome having everyday needs on site (bug spray, some beverages, toiletries, coffee needs, etc.), we only need our clothes, food, and toothbrushes!
