Stunning home, spotlessly clean, conveniently located, incredible view of the Hazards.
Stunning and immaculately clean home with all the kitchen amenities. Lounge room has the most incredible view of the Hazards. Rooms are modern, beds comfortable and sheets crispy clean. You won’t be disappointed.

Hi Regina, It was great to have you and your family with us. We are so glad you have had a lovely time while staying at the property. The Freycinet Holiday Houses team thank you for your review. We look forward to seeing you again in the future. The Freycinet Holiday Houses Team
Location magic. Accomodation out of this world. I would like to however point out that there was limited fire wood in house and none in wood box out back. We did find it the next morning under the house but as we got there at 4.30 freezing cold it was just a bit disappointing. Other than that it was a great stay. Thank you

Hi Cherie,
We are so pleased to hear you had a wonderful time while staying at this beautiful property. Our cleaning team is trained to set the fire so all you need to do upon arrival is light it. We apologise if this was not the case. Our cleaning team works hard, but with over 100 properties to manage, small details can sometimes be overlooked. If you ever need missing items, please don't hesitate to reach out; we're always happy to help! We appreciate your feedback. Understanding how our guests experience this home is the best way for us to make improvements. We thank you for this review.
Overall, we're so pleased you enjoyed the location! We hope to welcome you back again soon.
Kind Regards,
Verina and The Freycinet Holiday Houses Team.

Ants and more Ants
This accommodation is beautiful although our stay was spoiled due to ANTS! Agreeably, the management had put ant poison above the kitchen counter, unfortunately, the ants crawled up the wall to an ant trap hanging over our heads. We called management and they were well aware of the problem and even came and sprayed. They also told us not to leave any food out, which we had already figured out, we had stored non refrigerator food in the microwave but the ants persisted by attacking my makeup in the master bath. We finally got some relief when we purchased our own can of ant killer, but this was a temporary fix as well.
The other major problem we had was dirty dishes. Upon arrival you will see a notice that informs you that when you leave you are expected not only to wash all the dishes but put them away, which is fine, but the dishes that were there upon our arrival were so dirty we had to wash everything and I mean EVERYTHING before we used it. The cheese grater was so full of cheese it is no wonder there is an ant problem. Also, lifting a pan in one of the drawers revealed a pile of ant eating something.
I hate leaving a bad review but this problem was a known problem and we were not made aware of it and basically told that ants are a problem in the area. We looked at other VRBO's in the area and didn't find any reviews that indicated this. We also stayed in the rainforest and honestly had no problems with any kind of bugs so I believe this issue needs to either be addressed or guests notified of the problem. In regards to the dishes....everyone's idea of 'clean' is different. If the management expected guests to clean all the dishes they should be checking for cleanliness.

Hi Patty,
Thank you for review and feedback.
We were actually not aware of there being an ant problem until you informed us. We unfortunately can't inform guests, if the guests staying do not notify us.
Our cleaning team did not notice any when they cleaned prior to your arrival. We also arranged a pest control company straight away, however upon his arrival (and during your stay) he said he could not find any ants at all. Unfortunately they do come and go, especially when this stunning property is on the edge of a forest reserve.
We will always ensure we rectify situations that impact our guests asap, however we have not had this mentioned before or since your stay. Ants will often come in looking for water or on extra hot days for some reason, and they often disappear as quickly as they arrived.
We do have very high cleaning standards (as you can see in all of our reviews) and we also have a cleaning supervisor check each house to ensure it is perfect for our guests (including checking all kitchen items), however if guests do arrive unexpectedly earlier than our check in time of 3pm, it means that our supervisor has missed the opportunity to double check after the cleaning team and before guests arriving.
We do kindly ask guests one thing and one thing only upon their departure, and that is to please do your dishes before leaving. We do generally check that this has been done.
We hope you managed to enjoy all the beautiful features of this house and this special region. And we do appreciate your feedback.
Kind Regards Verina & The Freycinet Holiday Houses Team
