You will be able to walk to great brewpubs and restaurants in just minutes. Stroll down Voltaire Street and engage all your senses for all kinds of delights and sights. Our studio is located in one of the most desirable areas in Ocean beach. No matter what direction you head, you will find yourself immersed in the pulse and grove of OB. Located only 3 blocks from one of the most popular beaches in San Diego and the famous OB Pier. Short-Term Residential Occupancy License: STR-06950L

Stroll down to the beach, or mosey along popular Newport Ave. OB offers new brewpubs, fun restaurants, antique shops, surf shops, surfing, taquerias, and great sunsets.

There is no A/C but being so close to the beach, you get a great sea breeze, but just in case, there is a portable fan (stored in the closet).

This place is great! Everything you need to stay for the weekend. Walking distance to dog beach and Newport ave. Bed was very comfy and clean. Plenty of utensils for cooking. Ocean Beach is a very vibrant and diverse community. A lot to do here.

Not Quite As Expected

This property would be best suited for a young traveler living out of a backpack. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable and it was a short walk to our friends' home.

Good location & worked for us since we just needed a place to sleep. It was clean, but it’s small and could definitely use some updating. It included beach equipment, but both of the chairs were rusty and broken. I communicated that to the host and they were very responsive. It’s also right under a flight path that started around 6:30am and didn’t stop until around 11pm. That’s obviously not at fault to the hosts, just something to be aware of. I felt it was a bit expensive for what we got, but in San Diego you’re paying for location. I like to walk and there’s plenty of stuff around to walk to- great coffee, food, beach, etc.

We arrived, put in the code from the email we had recently received through VRBO and were greeted by a noisy small dog. It was obvious someone was living there. We called the property manager who was apologetic and refunded our money immediately but we were still left finding a new place to stay…

My thoughts

My stay was wonderful, despite the weather. Good location and close many places to eat, walking distant to shops and the beach. Ceiling lights above the bed didn't work and bathroom door really tight. Hooks on back door prevent it from fully opening, maybe replace it with a curtain.

Had the best trip in San Diego! Francesca's apartment was in the perfect location!! Three blocks from the beach, right across the street from an amazing grocery store, and basically 10 minutes from so many amazing locations in San Diego! The check in process was quick and easy, and Francesca was super responsive with any questions I had. Her place is quaint, clean, and had everything we needed for a perfect trip. Highly recommend! :)
