Great location and view!

-Beautiful view -quick drive to grocery (Jerry’s) and restaurants -be sure to pick up your own essentials: laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, etc -plenty of towels, pillows, etc provided -beach and pool not crowded -property management company easy to get in touch with snd accommodating -beach locker fully stocked with beach toys, chairs, umbrella, bikes however the beach equipment could use some updating (rusted chairs)

It is a beautiful condo.

It is a beautiful condo. It was beyond clean. Owner needs to replace the washing machine. It has a mold and mildew issue. (Which is very common in that type of washer). The smell was so bad I bought special washer machine cleaner and ran it on the clean washer cycle. That helped all a little bit. Everything else was fantastic. Staff was great when we had a dishwasher issue. Carlos fixed the issue. He was professional, and funny.

We had a small glitch in that our packet (with a pass to The Dunes), wasn’t in the lock box upon arrival. (The key was there). I left a voice mail on that Saturday that wasn’t returned. I sent an email on Monday, and received an immediate response. All was taken care of, even though they were working remotely. No harm done, since we didn’t need the Dunes pass over the weekend.

The only concern was the dishwasher flossed the first day and maintenance came Monday and could not fix it so we had to wash dishes all week but we’re happy with the condo!! The updates felt like home and extremely clean!

We have stayed at the Sanddollar multiple times but this is one of the nicest units we have ever stayed in. I would definitely stay there again! The team was great! Most of my communication with the team was by phone but everyone I spoke to was so nice and helpful! Great experience!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was nice and had a wonderful view of the Gulf, beaches and partial sunset. Plenty of room for the 5 of us for 9 days. Location was great on the island as we had quick access to many activities and restaurants. Unfortunately, there was no telephone or internet service for the entire 9 days. 4 of us had to constantly run to coffee shops and other locations to have internet in order to do work. This placed an undue burden on all of us as we wanted to work at night and enjoy the beach during the day. The office was as helpful as possible in resolving the issue, but to no avail. The only solution toward the end of the stay was for us to spend an entire day for a service tech to show up. The unit should have been inspected prior to our arrival to ensure everything was in working order. Great unit if you do not need telephone or internet while there.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Arrived at the condo and found everything as it looked in the photos. The condo is lovely. The only downside is that it is a little dark,this was made worse as there were 5 ceiling bulbs out between the front entrance and kitchen. The twin bedroom was very dark. We contacted REMAX on our arrival day, they said they would send someone to replace the bulbs. We were disappointed no one came we were there 7 nights! Before we booked I had spent many hours choosing the right condo. A big consideration was the availability of on site tennis. Sand dollar looked ideal. The first thing we noticed on our arrival was a team working on all three courts, no posts or nets up and a major cleaning operation. We asked one of the men when the courts would be available, he said it they would be closed for 4 days. We talked immediately to remax who advised us to pay and play at the resort next door,Sundial! When I said that this was unacceptable they said we could use a court at another neighbouring condo property. This was a short bike ride. We played once! I can't begin to explain how disappointed we were, this was a major plan for our vacation. It would appear that sandollar was the only complex on the island who chose to close their courts during this week. The most annoying thing was that the men left that first day and didn't return, ALL WEEK!! the courts, if the posts and nets had been put back, would have been perfectly playable, so our 7 night vacation was without tennis AA🎾, very disappointing.

so sorry to hear about the tennis court experience. the complex and association were to have had that done nearly a month before your arrival and it has been a mess to say the least. We did provide you with an alternative two complexes over and again, wish we could have had those courts available for you during your stay. i do look forward to working with you again soon

Since it was in the middle gulf area we could walk miles either way on the beach depending on the wind, tides, etc. The condo itself is nicely furnished, washer & dryer worked great. Only drawbacks were the shower in master bath doesn't have much pressure behind it, the kitchen needs a lot more storage containers for leftovers, and the non stick skillet was in bad shape.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice condo and pool. I was disappointed with the way the condo was prepared for us. They left the ice maker off and no instructions as to how to turn it on. No ice for the weekend until Mon. The master shower has virtually NO water pressure- therefore shower in a trickle. The fan was off on the porch with no directions as to how to turn it on. Called for the maint man and left message with my cell phone # for directions. He returns my call to my home in NC. We finally figured out how to work the fan. The elevator quit working twice in two weeks.

Plenty of shelling available, but this also means the need to protect your feet when bathing in the ocean. Good restaurants all around. Since the condo is small there is no office or janitor in site to ask for services or repairs, you have to call RE/MAX for any request, from a beach towel to an extra key or a utility failure; in any case their reaction is normally very expeditious. All and all, an excellent place to stay in Sanibel.
