This place is absolutely beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The home itself is comfortable and beautiful. We especially loved watching the sunrises and the little rock island infested with sealions. It's a great place for bird watching and just relaxing.
The listing doesn’t do any justice to the actual house and the view was phenomenal! The location and the proximity to Port Townsend was great! I would definitely recommend staying here.
The property is exactly as described and was a restful, tranquil, quiet spot convenient to Port Townsend and lots of hiking spots. Would definitely stay there again.
The property is located on a very private location with beautiful views. It was very clean and well-maintained with comfortable furnishings. The large living space and yard made it a great spot for dogs and kids. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We had a wonderful time and I would very much like to return.
This was the perfect house for a couples getaway. Great communal space and kitchen. Each room has its own full bath. Very quiet and peaceful outside watching the cruise ships go by. The house has its quirks but was very clean. The beds were all super comfortable. Highly recommend this rental house.
The property is at the end of Flagler road on Marrowstone Island and sits on a well manicured lot with a spectacular view of Puget Sound and the boat and ship traffic to and from Seattle and other cities further down the Sound. The owners have literally thought of everything to make a stay a comfortable and relaxing experience. Wildlife abounds including deer, bald eagles, sea lions and even an immature humpback whale. We have stayed in three different homes on Marrowstone and this was by far the most enjoyable and relaxing - simply the best!

Great home, but.......
The home was stunning, The view throughout the home of the puget sound was "the best, best ever". But we stayed there for 3 nights. Our Master Bedroom bathroom had no hot water! The south wing of the home was fine, so we showered on the other side. They fixed the heater element and we had a one night wonderful stay. Don't get me wrong, I would go to this home again and again. It is a treasure.

From the Owner: " We felt so bad that one of the two hot water heaters stopped working during your stay. As soon as we were made aware, we had a plumber come out as quickly as possible, and they did an excellent job addressing the issue. It turned out to be an electrical problem, which was later resolved by an electrician.
We’re glad to hear you still had such a lovely time despite the inconvenience, and we look forward to moving there soon ourselves."
The reviews and description of this property were right on target. We were told about the sea lions and the eagles and sure enough even they showed up. The home is a very large home. It was just my other half and I so we didn't need to use a lot of the home, but the living area and master bedroom both had the same magical views.
Store and restaurants were near by and close enough to the sites we wanted to venture too. Unfortunate for us, it rained our entire time in Washington. We would love to come back and stay at this property in a sunnier period of time.
Definitely recommend this property.
House is gorgeous with a breathtakingly expansive view and fabulous windows to enjoy it with. All sorts of boats pass by for entertainment. Deer were often around and we saw the resident eagle twice. Wasn’t the season for the sea lions which was disappointing. House is very well maintained, like new, had everything we needed. Furniture selection was awesome - all the sofas and chairs invite you to just lounge and never get up! Deck was fabulous too. One con for us was that we didn’t care too much for one part of the house - what would have been the original part - while it was fully renovated and very neat and well appointed and still had great windows with a view, it had some odd elements ( for example, one room had an open toilet sink area that has stairs leading from it to a loft space, and a separate open shower area with no doors on either; and then another room opened into it and another small dark sitting area etc.) and felt a bit dingy. We mostly hung out in the gorgeous family room and master which had very uplifting energies. Location at end of the road made it very private which was fabulous, but I liked that there was one adjoining house to the right because it felt too isolated to me at night with the woods and dark lake - not used to such a setting. Marrowstone and Olympic area in general were more underdeveloped than we had realized, but they have their own untouched charm. Port Townsend nearby has a cool downtown to visit with lots of chic stores. Didn’t need the property manager; owner was great to communicate with and allowed us to check in 2 hrs early which was nice. All in all, we had a fabulous time and didn’t want to leave!
What an amazing property! Second time we have stayed and this property does not disappoint! Beautiful, clean home and the property and views - simply stunning! We saw plenty of bald eagles, deer, sea lions - even a seemingly lost sea otter! It was magical and we cannot wait to go back! We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway.
Had an amazing time at this beautiful property! Super quiet and the view of the water and eagles flying by was amazing! Home was beautiful, very nicely kept and super clean.Highly recommend this beautiful property and we definitely look forward to staying there again.
This property is beautifully managed. Clean and well supplied with all amenities. A pleasure to visit with the deer who eat every afternoon, the sea lions on the rock , and the resident eagles who checked on us regularly.
We had a wonderful time. The views are amazing, and the house is well set up for cooking and spending time together. The house is set up so the master suite is truly separate from the other two rooms - creating privacy. Great wildlife, and hours spent enjoying the deck and watching the ships!
Excellent rental process and communication. We were kept updated from the time we booked to the day of arrival at the property.
Speaking of the property, it was fantastic. Very beautiful home and location. Loved watching the deer and the eagles. Lots of different boats/ships pass right in front of the house.
Bottom line: you will not be disappointed if you choose this property.
This house was a perfect place for our family to gather to renew after this difficult year. It was spacious and very comfortable and the views were incredible. We watched the boats go by on Puget Sound, enjoyed walking on the lovely property, seeing deer and eagles, and found it so peaceful. The house was very clean and well maintained, as well as well equipped. It was perfect for cooking together and we enjoyed family dinners around the large dining table. Just a perfect place to reconnect after more than a year apart.
We appreciated the location as a jumping off point for two all day adventures in Olympic national park as well as port Townsend. We enjoyed our walk from East Beach to Fort Flagler as well as many hours of meals, games and visiting in the very pleasant house.
We had the most magical time this weekend. Kicking ourselves for not booking one more night.
The jetted tub was amazing.
The views were beyond anything a photo could depict. Thank you for sharing your home.
This property was super clean and very comfortable and relaxing! We had a great time and loved staring out the windows toward the water and the seals on Craven rock!
This property is just beautiful. The house faces east so if you are up early you can catch an unobstructed view of the sunrise. The house is comfortable and spacious, with plenty of room to spread out. It’s well-equipped; the only thing we couldn’t find were cookie sheets/baking trays. The temperature was a bit of a challenge to regulate as part of the house does not have an adjustable thermostat. All of the TVs are mounted quite high, so it’s not super comfortable when watching, but we were outside most of the time so this was not a huge deal. Despite these small negative led, we were thoroughly pleased with our choice to stay here. The house is impeccably clean and is truly a gem.
