Thanks so much for your kind words! We’re really glad you enjoyed the location and found it convenient to the beach, playgrounds, and local cafes. We'd love to welcome you back anytime!
The house is in a great position in easy walking distance to shops, surf beach and off leash beach. It has a large yard and nice little deck. Plenty of beds and bedrooms. It’s a simple house with no internet, air con or dishwasher, but has great fans and lovely breezeways, very well equipped with oven and kitchen things. If you want a base that is tech free and lets you rest and be at beautiful quiet Bribie it’s great. The fridge died and the service to replace was brilliant with a lovely new fridge delivered same day and free coffee at local shop. Our two dogs had a great time

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We're so glad you enjoyed the convenient location, spacious yard, and the peaceful, tech-free vibe of the house. It’s wonderful to hear your dogs had a great time too! 😊 We're also pleased our team could quickly replace the fridge and make your stay as smooth as possible. We hope to welcome you back to beautiful Bribie again soon! 🌴🐾
beds were wonderful plenty of hot water for showers but ramp was hard to get to and very steep parth not wide enough for wheelie walker or suitcases on wheels

The house must have been photoshopped
When seeing the photo's on line it looked like a very large back yard with the ramp for our aged dog to get up on the verandah! When we got there it is postage stamp size very disappointing although our old dog had died before we got to take him for a holiday. Sad! The ramp was the only thing that this property had going for it. It was hot as an oven with no Air Con and also did not have windows that allowed any breeze if there was any to enter the property. No dishwasher and we had to pay a bond that will take 2 weeks to clear if the property is rated clear from the bond. We also had to pay for cleaning??? But had to clean the property ourselves to leave it as it was when we arrived so we may get our bond back???? What was the cleaning cost for??? The furniture was not clean i.e. the wardrobe had never been vacuumed at all so to remove their pillows I had to find somewhere clean to store them. We took our own linen and pillows etc etc. The property had belongings in every place so we were hesitant to touch anything. Not a happy stay and in future we will have grannie stay home with the animals as she was not well with the heat and could not sleep at all. The ceiling fans were useless and the two other fans were helpful however nothing eased the sweating that we did for our three days. There was a lovely leather lounge that was covered with filthy stretch covers that we felt we could not remove as they were there, and remembering our bond? but they kept falling off all the time. Painful. The photo's showed wooden floors that we needed but the lounge and bedrooms were all carpet which was negative because of Grannie's Asthma. Do you need any more info. The house was enclosed on three sides by high fences so no relief from the heat as no breeze could reach the pathetic windows. It was an old fibro fishing shack with a little upgrading i.e. another bathroom and the ramp. The only benefit was the nearness of the beach which we could not get to often as it was bucketing down with rain most of the time. End of my Rant! My advice would be to take the wide angle lens off to give a more accurate feel to the size of the yards.

Hi Amie, thank you for your review its upsetting that you did not bring any of your concerns towards the property to us personally during your stay. Please contact us regarding the cleaning issues as this property has never once had a cleaning complaint as the property owner personally cleans herself to ensure the house is set up perfectly for every guest. The owner refuses to use a cleaning contractor as she wants to know the house is always presented exactly as it should be. Please note the properties photos and advertisement do clearly advertise a lot of things you were disappointed about so we are unsure why you booked this property as the property is clearly advertised with what it does and doesn't have with updated photos. The photos shows carpet in the bedrooms, the property is not advertised with air conditioning however unsure why you would have needed it as you stayed during the period where the island was hit with weeks of rain, the couches are covered in the photos etc. You will find that the security bond was personally released by the business within 24hours of your departure date. We do advertise it can take up to 14days however this is at fault of your bank not our service to you. If you have any issues with the security bond please contact us we will give you the details to follow up your bank so they can release the hold on the funds. Best Wishes Bribie Island Real Estate
Great place for a relaxing, fun filled week away. Beach or Street Walks enjoyed with our puppies. Music Bingo on Wednesdays & a meal at the RSL. A visit to the the Bribie Island Butterfly House. Local Saturday & Sunday markets. A couple of hours on the Pumistone Passage with Ferryman Cruises. A trip to Beachmere and the Flamingo Ice Creamery for Flamingo Balls. So much to fill in the time in a comfortable home away from home.
