Our Soothing Sunsets Lake House is available for your retreats or vacations!

Year-round, the Soothing Sunset Lake House is a wonderful place to relax and spend time with family and friends. Now that springtime is here, my Soothing Sunsets Lakehouse could be the perfect spot for your friends and family to gather together to enjoy a time of relaxation, game playing, fishing on the dock, or just having a good time together. In the fall, when hunting season happens, or winter when the snow falls, the Lakehouse is a great place to be to hang out or just to enjoy the serenity of the lake. Now that spring is here and summer is around the corner, there are many changes happening at our lake house! We have just installed a Generac generator. We have also put a gas range with a double oven in the kitchen. On cool mornings or evenings, we've installed a gas insert into the fireplace which makes the home more cozy! This month, we are having our old dock taken down, and putting in a larger 2 slip dock with a deck. We hope to have this completed by May 1.

Our beautiful lakefront home has a sunroom, recreation room, living room, fully equipped kitchen, large counter high dining table, 3 large bedrooms, and 2 1/2 baths. We have beds for 10 guests. There’s a wonderfully comfortable sleeping chair in the living room for someone who stays awake longer than the rest, or who just likes to wake up with the sunshine.

Step out from the sun room to a large deck overlooking another smaller deck with hot tub. The air is so clean and there is only the sounds of birds singing to make your visit so enjoyable. You might even see a wild deer or two.

Our recreation room has a pool table, dart board, and media center with a 65" television with Satellite TV, two 3-seat sofas, a swivel rocker with rocking footstool, a large bar equipped with stemware and beer glasses with two bar stools; and a pub table with three stools. There’s a mini fridge and a chest freezer in the recreation room to hold your food and drinks whenever you need them.

If you need to do work, there is a desk that is available in the house. Internet and Wifi is available as well.

Our home has a private dock to fish from. We are in the process of replacing our dock with a longer and bigger dock for more fun on the water! Our new dock will have two slips and a deck to enjoy fishing or swimming in the lake. In the fall and winter, the water is lower; but sitting on the dock can still be enjoyable.

Weather can be a challenge in the fall, so sitting in the sunroom with a hot cup of coffee/tea/cocoa while reading one of the many books available to our guests is a great way to relax and still enjoy the serenity of the lake. We have games for the family to play, DVD's of movies to watch, a pool table and dart board to keep you entertained. With three separate living areas, you should never feel crowded in the house.

If you want to get away and see some of the local sites, I have put together a large notebook of useful information to include where to go golfing; shopping; wine tasting; dining; antiquing; hiking; and gambling. I've done all the research for you. These places and things to do include the surrounding area and Nashville.

If staying indoors and just chilling, my kitchen is perfect for your needs. My kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, coffee maker, ice-tea maker and water kettle. I supply the coffee pods and teas for my guests.

There is no limit to your vacation entertainment. If you have questions about what to do, where to go, what to bring - I am just a phone call away! My guests are treated with a brief explanation of important details, and then you are left to enjoy your memorable vacation!
