Great Stay

We had a great time while staying at the property. We had everything we needed available while there, it was nice and clean with good facilities. I would suggest a BBQ would be a good addition to utilise the beautiful decking area, also wifi would be a bonus too. All around an excellent property

Nice get away

Good for family gathering. Make sure you pack your incidentals as the property doesn’t have things like oil/ salt and pepper/ gladwrap.

Great Family Holiday

Loved the house and the location! Was a perfect family getaway and close to everything we needed. Only thing that would have made it even better was a bbq at the house to utilise on the amazing deck set up. Other than that it was an amazing stay thank you!

Well presented, in a great location. Property managers were great, in dealing with a few issues.

Lovely relaxing property. A BBQ would be great & some better lighting. However great property overall, the sunsets at Horseshoe Bay are amazing & food at SaltWater to die for.

Whispering Palms was ideal for us, a family holiday getaway with 5 adults and an 18month old child. Plenty of room for us all and room for the little one to run around safely. Having 3 bathrooms was also a plus. The pool and the lovely tropical gardens made up for the residential street location. The house was ideal for relaxing and was all we had hoped for. We ordered groceries online from local Foodworks and they delivered and waiting for us when we arrived. The local agent was always quick to respond and communication was excellent. Could only suggest one improvement and that would be screens on doors this was not a problem as we were there in autumn but I wondered how it might be in summer at the height of bug season.

Very relaxing stay.

My wife and I had intentions of just relaxing on our stay on magnetic Island and that's exactly what we did, our watch went in the draw and stayed there. Our accommodation was very private, it had everything you needed, especially a great pool which we used every day, we strolled around the island and swam at horseshoe Bay drank coffee at the great Cafes the island has to offer and then come back to our pool and sit on the deck while listening to the birds sing. We would recommend our stay at whispering palms to everyone who wants to unwind and relax.

Beautiful house in a central location

Loved staying at the house. It had everything we needed to enjoy our time. Only disappointed in the bikes being in pieces and there were a few maintenance things to fix but overall the property is beautiful and was great for 3 couples and a child. Favourite part was the giant bathtub that looked out to the stars.

A little paradise getaway great for family and friends.

Almost 5star.....3 things that could boost the ratings. 1....Need lights in pool for hot Summer nights. 2....Need a portable BBQ on deck(although inside kitchen has everything you need for cooking) 3....Alot of landscape maintenance required. Lawns to be mowed and alot of fallen palm leaves and debris needed some attention. We found a tree snake (harmless) near the pool where my kids were swimming. We mowed the lawns ourself on arrival but needed a big skip bin for palm leaves. Otherwise 5star!!! we love the house itself!!!!....got everything you need for a holiday with friends and family, even the island has supermarkets and liquor stores.

Great space for large groups

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. It has a breezy feel to it and located on a quiet street. There is lots of room at this property for a larger groups. There is no backyard to play in for smaller children, however the size of the house made up for it. The map location of this property on Stayz is no where near where it is actually located, which was disappointing. The only issue was the air cons and the cushions need cleaning as they were dusty. Also, the pathway from the carport to the house needs to be level and needs a sensor light there. We liked how there were lots of bicycles and some fishing rods available to use. It has a great oven, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. Plenty of utencils and cooking gear and beautiful gardens.

House and amenities were clean and hygienic. Facilities were excellent. Only major drama was the pool area wasn’t very well lit, and could not find how to turn the pool light on if it was working.
