Perfect beach house

Just steps from the beach access on Bliss Lane, Blissful Oaks was a great long weekend getaway. Great value for whole house, well stocked and super cool laid back vibe. Well located on Jekyll Island. We plan to stay again on our next visit to the Golden Isles.

Beautiful older home that has been remodeled and updated but still has some vintage charm with the fireplace and built ins. Love the house and would recommend. It was a lovely home and very comfortable for 2 families. Would rent again.

We love this house!

This is our second time renting this property. We love it. It is the perfect layout for our family. Please note that the beach access at the end of Bliss Lane is closed. A storm took out the stairs so you will have to go to walk to the next street down.

The house is great just for me and I love the courtyard as it brings the birds/squirrels if you dare to feed the. The location is great with access to beach and bike paths and it is close to the golf courses. You could even bike there. The accomodations are decent and clean. That is all I need.

Soooo clean, my priority when choosing a rental. Smelled fresh & clean. Loved all the natural light. The only thing I had a problem with was the shower in master off kitchen. All it needs is a flexible handheld shower head with adjustable spray. Not a deal breaker for me. Easy fix. Jekyll Realty offered Blissful Oaks to us because the house we had rented had an unpleasant odor,probably from moldy fireplace. I've only had to change houses oTwice in my 35 years experience with Jekyll Realty & they served us very well both times.

Jekyll Island realty called us on day of our arrival and told us the house was ready and unlocked. Upon arrival the property was just perfect! Perfect setting, clean, everything we could need was there. We took our grandson and much to our surprise they had games and legos and toys to entertain him! That was a God send when weather was ideal for beach going! The house was such a beauty! The decor was beautifully done. Beach casual with antiques throughout and a very warm welcoming home feel to it! We hated to leave. We are looking forward to going back soon!!

Wonderful time at Blissful Oaks

We came to Jekyll for a wedding and Blissful Oaks was the perfect place to stay. Steps to the beach and the home itself was even better than pictured. Definitely recommend this home!

Reviewer Comments: We had a family wedding on the island at the JIC and our stay at Blissful cottage was close to the activities, but closer to a great beach for walking and fun. The cottage offered lots of rooms, but truly needs a major cleaning of walls, floors and bathrooms. We had enough sleeping room for our family. We were busy with activities so didn't spend much time at the home except for sleeping and getting ready.
