Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Generally it was a good experience but there were a few things with the house that were less than ideal. The HVAC system was rather loud, Cooktop is outdated, oven is small, no garbage disposal in the sink, and several wter leaks in the kitchen and bathroom that were a little concerning.

Loved the location of Coastal Breezes!! Large house with great layout…..one concern was the 4th BR it was located in an area off the kitchen and there was an outside door with only a latch so it didn’t feel very secure in that area. I love Jekyll and have always felt safe but times are changing so I hope they consider a more secure door. Loved the screened in patio and close walk to the beach. Super friendly neighbors!!!

Great stay

We had a fantastic family vacation in Jekyll and at this house. We can’t wait to make it back soon. The only down side to this trip was out of the owners hands, but the Jekyll island authority contacted us a few days prior to staying stating that the 2 boardwalks within close walking distance to the house were shut down for repairs. We did choose this house because of the 1 block proximity to the beach, so that was frustrating. However the easy access to the public beaches made up for it. We knew that this was “off season” but surprised they couldn’t have waited until further into the fall to make these repairs. Otherwise, the house was perfect!

Negatives (simple, not a big deal things, but good to know) tide pool about 3 ft deep at base of stairs all weekend (at low tide) so may be a recurring issue (other accesses very close by) minimal toilet paper and no hand soap provided, lights out in screened in porch so absolutely no lighting for back yard/grilling area. Other than these very minor issues- we had a perfect stay!

Couple downsides were things like, hand mixer but no beaters, very little cooking utensils--plenty of pans and pots but little to stir, vacuum didn't work so cleaning up pet fur was hard on checkout. Overall I would stay here again.

Very Disappointed with Coastal Breezes and Jekyll Island Realty

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have never had so many e-mails, credit checks etc from a property in my life. I have traveled all over the world, owned 4 time shares and 3 condominiums all on the beach- 1 in Destin, 1 in Panama City and one on Maui. I thought I was going to have to give a hair follicle and blood sample when I checked in. I have also never stayed anywhere in my life that did not provide linens, towels and basic amenities. The realty also told me I was one house from the ocean. That was a lie and no beach access in that street. Very disappointed and will not return.
