This was a fabulous place to stay for our trip to the White Mountains in New Hampshire. We had a beautiful view, the house was very clean, the lay out was great and the location was very convenient for activities in the White Mountains. It was the perfect place for us.

Stayed for a weekend away and the house was perfectly laid out. Bedrooms all on different floors, bathroom on each floor and it was nicely equipment. Great views on the massive deck to enjoy the morning coffee and the hot tub was a great place to wind down after a long day. Would definitely stay again.

Franconia Fall Trip

Beautiful home with amazing views of Cannon, Lafayette and Lincoln. Great location close to sites and I93 for easy navigation around the White Mountains. Home was equipped with everything we needed, including dry wood for evening fires.

Beautiful views, great location

House is as pictured, views are incredible, very peaceful, private location. House was very clean and we enjoyed the artwork. Close to hiking in Franconia Notch and nearby towns which have some great breweries. Owner was very responsive and accomodated a last minute request to add an extra night. We would stay again.

Beautiful View

Beautiful mountainside view close enough to local towns to get needed supplies easily but far enough away to give the feeling of being alone in the mountains. Wonderful outdoor hot-tub with view of the mountain stars at night.

The height of two beds were very high, we have to use step-stool (provided by host) climb up the matress an at night One has to climb down to go to Bathroom. Very uncomfortable. Elderly member of my family has to sleep on the sofa for entire stay. The matress in basement were not in good condition.

Not quite like the pictures

Not quite what we were expecting. We had to open all the doors and windows when we got there due to cans of paint thinner in the downstairs garage that made the whole house smell awful. Very, very old and musty house and honestly more spiders inside the house than I have ever experienced (and I spent my entire childhood coming up to this area every summer). Not worth the price tag.

Girls Leaf Peeping Weekend

The house was exactly as seen on the website. There are many different spaces to relax and spread out. I would have to say that the highlight was seeing a coyote AND a black bear both in the back yard. Neither one cared about the other and they just moseyed on by. Slow enough that we could get some great pictures and videos. I also liked the location - close to so many attractions such as the Flume/Gorge and the Cannon Mt Tram which was fantastic! The one negative was that there was a scheduled power outage planned which was never conveyed to us. There was a generator and that kicked in right away. However, with the 5 girls in the house the water didn't last long. We left for the day and when we returned that everything was restored. I just wish we were given a heads up so that we could have planned our day differently. I would definitely stay there again.

We love this house, back again after discovering it last year, set in a pristine area of Franconia with a stunning view in the backyard of the mountains and brilliant fall foliage! Saw a mother bear and three cubs yesterday in the backyard by the tree line! Bring your camera! Home is beautifully appointed, meticulously clean, comfortable, gorgeous artwork on the walls created by the talented Mrs Snowdale, the owner. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed!

Spectacular Views that relax you the moment you arrive.

House big enough for a family of 6 w/o being on top of each other. Fantastic views from almost EVERY room. Quiet, peaceful but close to everything.

Beautiful getaway

The property was beautiful and the view was incredible! We enjoyed our time here to just unwind and be together. If you have young children, bring some games, DVD’s or puzzles as there was not much at the house catered to kids. The backyard was a clear view of the mountains with lots of land to run around. We saw deer and a black bear. We’d love to come back and stay in the winter. The hot tub was a lot of fun!

Lovely Mountain Home

We just got back from a 5 night stay. The house is cozy, clean and was more than spacious for 3 adult couples. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the amazing view. We even saw a bear amble across the meadow. This location is a great jumping off point for any number of activities.

Absolutely Perfect!!

What a perfect getaway!! The view is incredible and it was so relaxing to just sit outside or in the living room taking in the beauty of the mountains. The town of Franconia has a great grocery store and coffee shop only 5 minutes away, and it was really great to avoid the busy tourist areas when we just needed some essentials. The house itself is beautiful and comfortable and located centrally for all NH attractions. Our kids loved our stay as well. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
