In addition to the 3 sky lit bedrooms the Hex boasts an enormous deck, open living/dining area, well equipped galley kitchen, 3 season room, laundry and storage room and an outdoor shower which shares the same breathtaking views as the living areas of the house. Just a short walk away is one of Falmouth's most popular beaches. Soak in the warm calm waters of Buzzard's Bay or explore the marsh and its many channels just behind the dunes of Woodneck Beach. At high tide, you may want to take the canoe or kayaks (included) out for a paddle on Little Sippiwissett Marsh. Just 3 miles from the shopping, restaurants and bars of downtown Falmouth and charming Woods Hole, the Hex offers an ideal balance natural beauty, tranquility, beach and water activities and the conveniences your home town. Your pets are welcome and will love hanging out on the deck which can easily be gated off.

The Hex is absolutely charming, with its ingenious hexagonal shape, and it is fully furnished with everything needed for a comfortable and pleasant visit. The house, along with its sunroom and expansive deck, overlooks a spectacular salt marsh that hosts families of egrets, ducks, geese and other marshland birds. The area is a birdwatcher's paradise and distinctly beautiful.The Hex is well located for easy access to many Cape sights, clean, quiet, and private. Our host, Chris, was delightful, responsive, and gracious in every way. We and our feline sidekick thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great week at the hex

We spent a wonderful week at the hex with our adult children and one dog. The house was well appointed, comfortable, and in a great location. We especially enjoyed kayaking in the marsh, the short walk to the beach, and the outdoor shower.

Sunrise over Sippewissett Creek

It is a piece (peace) of heaven to sip a cup of tea on the deck while watching the birds feed at low tide. The house is clean, comfortable, and quiet. The owner is pleasant and responsive. A very nice respite escape for our family group.

Relaxing and Enjoyable

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hex. The property was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities needed. The views are beautiful. The deck was awesome. We had a few beautiful mornings to sit out and enjoy our coffee and watch the wildlife. We took walks to the beach nearby. There are several great restaurants in town. We took the ferry with our car to Martha's Vineyard one day and spent the day there. This was a much needed relaxing time to re-set and this place was perfect for that. Wonderful time!

Great Place to Stay

Superb property. Really great place for two bird watchers. We set up our scope and were able to watch many species enjoying the marsh. The “gate” to close off the deck was less than ideal or useful. It was a plastic baby gate that I couldn’t really figure out how to secure. I did not reach out to the host about this. Luckily we had an extra long leash and were able to tether our pup. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.

A Dream View

The views from the house, deck and outdoor shower over the marshland are stunning with a constant array of wildlife on display; loons, terns, egrets. Regardless of the weather there is something always happening on the horizon. The deck is expansive, set up for dining, lounging, and gas grilling. The kitchen is well stocked as are other amenities e.g. beach towels, linens. The wi-fi connection was great and there is a TV where we watched Wimbledon. You are a short walk to the beach which is very child friendly and from where we took in spectacular sunsets across Buzzards Bay. You are a quick drive to town and the Shining Path Bike Path and alternatively you can go to Dana's Kitchen and the West Falmouth Market if you don't want to go into town. We had a wonderful, memorable relaxing stay.

The house was musty and not as clean as expected upon arrival. We overlooked the air conditioning situation, but the weather was mild so it wasn’t an issue. Fans did great keeping the air moving.Loved the outdoor shower, the hall shower doesn’t drain well. Took time after the shower was done.Canoe seat was broken, so we didn’t use it, and older grand son got swallowed up in the muck so he changed his mind about kayaking lol.Issue with dryer was quickly resolved. Thank you for the extra night as compensation for our troubles.Loved the location and accessibility to the beach, town center and bike path. The back porch was awesome for bird watching, watercolors and morning coffee! Overall it was very lovely and comfortable home for our stay on the cape. Thank you!

Hex stay in May

Excellent week in May! Home is comfortable and well kept. Porch and view allowed us to watch the birds and the tidal flow. Our 2 dogs adjusted to being someplace new. Our more active dog enjoyed the walk to the beach. Neighbors were pleasant and friendly.

We had a great stay at the Hex. The house was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed -- including the most well-equipped kitchen ever in a rental! Located on a quiet lane with a view that's hard to beat, it's a short walk to the beach and very close to both Falmouth and Woods Hole. The Hex...Bright, Airy and Comfy!

We found the Hex to be sparkling clean and bright. The beds and linens were great quality and super comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed walks to the beach, watching the wildlife. Beautiful time at the Hex

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at the Hex. It had everything we needed and the view from the deck was far better than we expected. We took advantage of the kayaks and canoe and really felt at home. We would gladly stay there again!

Awesome stay!

My family and I had a great time staying at this property. Quick walk to the beach. Went swimming every day. Our favorite time to go swimming at the beach was around 5pm and come back to having dinner on the beautiful deck! Very peaceful, clean and nice! ;)

charming spot near great beach and sunsets

Compact, different, very clean little house with three bedrooms, two baths and lovely windows and deck overlooking a bird filled marsh and beautiful sunrises. 5 minute walk to beautiful beach and sunsets. House is small but equipped with modern appliances, fans, TV, wifi. Plenty of seating area for 6 people. Lovely quiet and peaceful road/spot.

A nice week in Cape Cod

The house was clean overall and the beds were comfortable. However, the house was smaller than I expected and the second bathroom was TINY. I found it hard to maneuver and I'm a 5'2", average-sized woman. The view of the marsh was beautiful and we enjoyed watching the egrets and other water fowl feeding. It got quite warm in the mornings with the sun hitting the wall of windows and we couldn't open some of the windows because of holes in the screens. Also, the sun glare, which lasted until the sun was high in the sky, made it impossible to see the television or our devices, no matter which way we positioned things, unless we stayed in the bedrooms. There were no curtains or shades, except in the bedrooms, which made privacy an issue with neighbors close by on either side. The stove hadn't been cleaned, maybe an oversight by the cleaning crew since the rest of the house was clean. The kitchen was also very small, though well-equipped, for the little amount of time we spent in there. We didn't use the sunroom at all, because of the heat, the mustiness and the condensation in the windows. Chris was very quick to respond when I texted him on some issues.
